Before visiting Pittsburgh Float, I had never floated or used a float tank before. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Luke, the owner, took the time to walk me through the entire process and made everything feel comfortable and approachable. The float tanks are clean, quiet, and spacious. I would recommend Pittsburgh Float to anyone curious about floating as well as those who already have experience. If you are an athlete or someone who works out regularly, it is absolutely worth trying.

Just had my first float, and dead serious, can’t wait to get back! Luke, the owner, walked us through a quick, yet informative orientation before our session. I had literally zero context heading in, other than lay back and float, so my expectations were basic. Hard to put into words the peacefulness and serenity of simply drifting for 90 minutes. The length of this session allowed me to make the micro-adjustments to find the optimal position, and it’s like a world I’ve never experienced. This isn’t some pseudo-science therapy, the benefits are very apparent on the first go. Initially, I was hesitant to make the time for this, but can totally see myself as a regular moving forward. Thank you Pittsburgh Float for a truly one-of-one experience!

Pittsburgh Float is top notch! The space is beautiful and relaxing and Luke ( the owner) is welcoming and knowledgeable. And the float? Mind blowing. I leave feeling like a completely different person. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this place for first time or experienced floaters! Variety of time options available that I haven’t seen elsewhere, the tanks are very spacious, and had friendly and patient service, instructions, and tips. Extremely relaxing experience and never felt at all rushed.

This place is really a hidden gem! Between the physical relaxation and the mental clarity you can’t go wrong with this experience. The atmosphere is very calming and clean. It’s so nice to have a place your mind can run through all the stuff it doesn’t get to in our busy world.
