Löyly Nordic Spa

The spa offers a spacious sauna with 5 heaters that run hot and work efficiently to provide a great sauna session! They aim to keep the sauna temperature at around 190° F, which sounds hot, but at löyly is relaxing and gives you the best recovery possible! While the larger sauna offera a great atmosphere for quiet and engaging conversation with bith friends and strangers, there is a silent sauna where you can choose to have a more meditative sauna session. I would never choose to cold tub on my own, but the saunas make the cold a "hot" commodity at Löyly! They have tubs set from 41° F to 55° that are adjustable based on preference, which is great because it tailors to various levels of tolerance and recommended temperatures for either males or females! The staff are welcoming and treated well, as I'm always greeted warmly and enthusiastically whenever I go to the Löyly nordic spa! This is a family owned business and owner (a former world class decathlete) does his best to provide a high quality and professional experience to everyone who attends the spa! Because of the popularity of the Löyly nordic spa, it recieves a lot of love, and things do break down and need maintenance. This is not a unique challenge for any business, and i was further impressed by the owners attentiveness to the spa's upkeep. I've noticed handles fall off, pipes leak, locker doors break off, but despite normal wear and tear, I've been impressed by Löyly's promptness in addressing these challenges and fixing any wear and tear as soon as they can. I can confidently say that you can expect the spa to be a clean and professional place to land. I'm further impressed by the high standards they set for their business and can expect them to continue on that trajectory to provide exemplary services to the health and wellness community!

My first experience at Löyly Nordic Spa was absolutely incredible! It was my first time ever doing a cold plunge, and it’s safe to say I’m officially hooked. If you’re looking for the best cold plunge and sauna experience, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort — beautifully designed, relaxing, and incredibly clean. The Nordic spa experience here feels elevated yet welcoming. I loved being able to rotate between the cold plunge and sauna therapy, which left me feeling refreshed, energized, and completely rejuvenated. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The level of hospitality and attention to detail really sets Löyly apart from other wellness spas. If you’re looking for a luxury spa, cold plunge therapy, sauna experience, or overall wellness retreat, I highly recommend Löyly Nordic Spa. I can’t wait to come back!

I am sad to say that the quality of this place has taken a steep, steady decline over the last year. My friends and I have been coming here since it opened. We even attend the grand opening event and have been included in some of the promotional videos/collages. At the start this place was awesome. Clean and calming, it was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. However, as it has gotten more popular it is now neither of thoes things. The cold plunges are very cloudy by the end of the day, the floors in the bathrooms are always soaked ( they do a decent job cleaning up around the tubs), and most of the glass is covered in hard water from never getting throughly cleaned. What once was a hidden gem has quickly become a local hotspot, meaning at peak hours the main sauna gets loud and crowded. This wouldn't be such a big problem if the other "quiet" saunas door could close properly and have it retain/produce as much heat as the other. Sad to say that over time the annual membership for a member+friend, which is almost $80 a month, has lost what value my wife and I felt like we were getting. We wont be renewing it, which might help this place depreciate slower. All in all, this place is decent from a value stand point but if your looking for a luxury, more spa like experience look elsewhere.

I brought my son to Löyly today and we loved our experience!! The facility was beautiful, everything was clean, the sauna was so nice. I loved that they had education on cold plunge and sauna information for men and for women on the wall. My son and I got to do something that felt hard (go in the cold plunge) and had a new experience together! I felt invigorated after. The employees were very friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Something I love about the set up is the community aspect. The large sauna can fit so many people and the cold plunge tubs are all together in the same area. I feel like it fosters a beautiful community connection! When we löyly together, we grow together. 🤩

Absolutely love this sauna and cold plunge. Staff is amazing and always greets you with a warm welcome. My first time in I had no idea what I was doing and they made sure I was shown around and knew what to do! There are two separate saunas. One for more peacefulness and another for more of a hangout!! Both are very well kept and great spacious areas! There are plenty of cold plunge tubs so you never are having to wait your turn to use it. They also have tubs with different temperatures so you can pick your choosing temp. They have a great system to rinse off before you get in the tub so everything stays nice and clean! My absolute favorite part about this is you can drop in whenever and stay and go back and forth between the sauna and cold plunge as many times as you want! Spend 20mins or 3 hours! 10/10 would recommend!

EDIT: Loyly has seriously upped their game in the last month. My previous concerns have been settled and 5 stars because I love a business that listens to customers, especially when disgruntled. Original review: I simply hate giving a 1 star review, especially to an establishment where I’ve had many good times. I have been going to Loyly for over six months now and it has gotten progressively worse. The last couple weeks that I have gone I don’t even get in the cold plunges anymore because they are so dirty. The sauna. Things are constantly broken ie: the door handle, the bucket shower handle, pieces of wood. There are so many puddles of standing water everywhere and they smell bad. Lately, you can only have one small towel to sit on/wipe your area with so there are just tons of sweat pools left for everyone after you. Hygiene and maintenance are DOWN. The bathroom. The men’s locker room has always been a serious mess. There is always a locker or two that is broken and for a solid month there was only one shower with the other one being out of order. Constant huge pool of water and lots of gross hair everywhere. I want to keep coming here because I love the social aspect of the sauna and for the feeling of recovery and energy I have afterwards, but I am probably going to cancel my membership in the next month or so if nothing changes. It is getting too crowded and the management team doesn’t seem to be doing well with the increased amount of people.

I’ve had a membership here for a year now and I can firmly say this is worth the investment in your health. This not smoke or some trend, the way Löyly does sauna actually works. Sauna done right (like this company does) shifts the trajectory of all my decisions and physical well being for the better. It’s always hot enough to get the benefits I’m looking for. The place is clean and easy to access/use. The individual set up of different temperatures in the polar plunge/baths is so well thought out for women. It’s also very enjoyable that you can choose a nice quiet sauna experience or go into the bigger sauna for a very pleasant social experience. I truly appreciate the follow through of science they have going on plus accompanied by a kind and helpful staff. It’s a win all around. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a pass.
