I recently visited Off&Relax Head Spa in Mission Viejo, and I’m so glad I did! This new spot in South Orange County is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was serene, clean, and incredibly relaxing — exactly what you’d want from a true scalp spa experience. They’re currently offering a grand opening special ($30 off your first scalp spa session and 20% off when you buy 2 or more hair care products), which made it the perfect time to try them out. What really sets Off&Relax apart from the other scalp spas I’ve been to (and I’ve been to more than a few!) is their focus on truly personalized scalp care. Before the treatment, they performed a detailed scalp analysis to understand my specific concerns — dryness and sensitivity — and then tailored the entire session around that. They use authentic Chinese Toudaotang techniques and traditional Eastern scalp and hair care products designed to treat the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. My scalp felt refreshed, my hair looked healthier, and I left feeling lighter and deeply relaxed. If you’re looking to unwind while giving your scalp and hair some real TLC, this is the place. did the Scalp Treatment (hair, facial, shoulder & hand massage) with Lily, and she was absolutely amazing. Lily is the sweetest — she truly has a healing touch. The pressure of her massage was perfect, and I appreciated how attentive she was, making sure I stayed comfortable and reminding me that I could adjust the pressure or water temperature anytime. This was my first time trying this type of treatment, and I realized I had some expectations based on a previous facial I’d had elsewhere. The focus here seemed to be more on the scalp and hair, which makes sense for this package. Even so, everything Lily did felt thoughtful and relaxing. One of my favorite parts was how she began the session: she guided me to take a few deep breaths while waving her hands — infused with doTERRA oil — gently over my face, then applied calming pressure to my shoulders as I exhaled. It set the perfect tone for the entire treatment. At the end, I requested curls, and Lily did such a lovely job — she made sure my ends weren’t dripping and added product to give my hair a nice, soft curl. The room was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully set up, which added to the whole experience. Overall, it was a wonderfully soothing and refreshing session. I would definitely come back!

My experience today was truly one of a kind! Mei was incredibly kind and absolutely exceptional at what she does. The scalp treatment was out of this world — so relaxing that I drifted off a few times. The facial was just as amazing, leaving my skin glowing and refreshed.
