Valmont for The Spa at The Setai, Miami Beach

I recently treated myself to a spa day at The Setai in Miami Beach and it was pure magic. From the moment I arrived, the calm, elegant atmosphere completely melted away the outside world. The spa itself is stunning - serene, beautifully designed, and feels like a hidden sanctuary right on the ocean. My treatment was incredible (exactly what I needed), and the therapist was truly gifted - intuitive, professional, and made the entire experience deeply relaxing and restorative. I floated out feeling lighter, refreshed, and genuinely renewed. Spending the rest of the day enjoying the gorgeous pools, beach, and tranquil spaces was the cherry on top. Everything flowed seamlessly, the staff were warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the little touches throughout the day made it feel effortlessly luxurious. If you're looking for a slice of paradise and total pampering in Miami, this is it. Already dreaming of my next visit! Highly, highly recommend.

I have been a guest of the Setai many times but I never had the time to try the SPA. I absolutely loved my treatment, the therapist did an amazing job with me. The location is also amazing, while the sauna is close to the pool on the ground floor, the massage are done in the residential tower on the 18th floor where you have an incredible view. I booked a couples massage at Valmont Spa in the Setai Miami for my birthday with my wife, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Booking was a nightmare. We called multiple times over two days and only got voicemails. It took serious effort just to get someone on the phone to confirm our appointment. We were promised pool access, but when we arrived, we were told it wasn’t allowed. No explanation, no apology—just a flat refusal. The elevator to the massage floor was broken, so we had to walk up a long flight of stairs. Not exactly the luxury experience you’d expect from a high-end spa. The massages themselves were subpar. My wife’s masseuse was completely unskilled, to the point where she left feeling worse, not better. She was frustrated and disappointed—definitely not the birthday treat we envisioned. We also paid an extra $120 for a foot scrub that lasted maybe 10 seconds per foot. It felt like a scam. We were never offered use of any relaxation amenities—no pool, no jacuzzi, nothing. And honestly, by the time our massages ended, we were both in such a bad mood we didn’t even bother with the relaxation room or use the $50 gift card they gave us. We just left. The worst part? We’ve had better spa experiences at a mall. For a place that markets itself as luxury, this was a complete letdown. Save your time, money, and expectations—Valmont Spa is not worth it.

I’ve been to spas all over the world. Canada, Morocco, Israel, India, all over Europe, South America to find the best experience by far right where I live and it’s all thanks to Murad. His hands are magic. During our session I felt so safe and cared for. It’s a surreal experience. Came on a sunny day then it started pouring perfect for a spa day. I feel so happy and relaxed. Thank you to Murad and the entire Setai team.

Honestly I don’t know why this spa has bad reviews! My experience was above and beyond. The booking process was smooth as well as the check-in, amenities and treatments. I have been to many spas around the world and the experience I had here was one of the best ones. It has showers, a steam room, free flip flops and an array of treatments. I highly recommend it!

Best luxury Valmont Spa place in Miami, me and my husband went there last weekend, it was definitely best experience ever , very friendly front desk staffs , top professional masseurs. I did the 60mins facial lifting Valmont Spa , my husband did 60 mins body massage, I had a left eye muscle cramps for a week , it surprised me that after the spa , the eye muscle cramps gone! My husband said his masseur is a top standard, he is very friendly and professional ,he is a master. We will come to get spa/massage here again for sure👍🏻 Thank you for your excellent service ❤️

Massage was with my wife and was perfect, masseuse were great and very professional. But the purpose of getting 90min massage is to relax, unfortunately IMPOSSIBLE WITH CONSTRUCTIONS IN THE STREET!!!!!! You should be a shame to not inform clients when they are booking for a treatment!!!!
