Ocean View Massage

A friend and i decided one afternoon on a whim to get a massage, somewhere close by. We used maps and found Oceanview Massage, we called to see if they had time to do 2 people. They agreed and told us to come right in. The place was very quiet and tranquil upon entering. Soft instrumental music playing in background. We were immediately at ease talking with the ladies and requested an hour full body massage each. We were immediately each shown to our private clean rooms where we removed several garments in prep for massage. The rooms are dark and massuse went right to work.. I had her give special attention to my back since it had tight knots from stress. She worked relentlessly for an entire hour removing all the tense stress knots from my body. After a good 30 min pn back she then did my legs, arms, shoulders, fingers, neck, face and head. I was so relaxed I think I was drooling from pleasure. This is only my 4 th massage ever but it surely was the best, and reasonable at $60 for the hours. I really recommend this place and plan on going once a month. They also offer a variety of massage packages and are open til 10pm.

Been here before and was decent because it's close to home. This time, small lady accepted my money and then another customer came in after me demanding service because he called in earlier for a different masseuse. Lady changed her mind about seeing me and then told me to come back in 1hr. Seemingly greedy, unorganized, and unprofessional. I only liked the warm beds they have really, but I won't be back ✌🏼

Moving boxes all week. The back was tense. Did the hot stone massage, it was life altering. Just glad I can walk now without going ow ow ow. The walk on the back thing was amazing. Did not get the name of the gal. 90 all in with tip. Maybe slightly pricier than I would normally pay but I have no complaints!

Great massage overshadowed by lots of background noise. The walls arent built up to the ceiling so you here people go in and out quite a bit. Their washer / dryer was very loud. It plays this long annoying tune. I didnt get the lady's name but she was very nice and listened well to my request.

They requested that we pay for the massage session upfront, which we didn’t mind. However, they also asked us to tip before receiving the service, which I declined, insisting on paying afterward. During the massage, they engaged in constant conversation, disrupting the peaceful atmosphere. Worse still, they gossiped about us in Chinese, assuming we wouldn’t understand. Unfortunately for them, we do understand some Chinese. As for their massage technique, it felt unprofessional—almost as if they hadn’t received proper training or certification. When the session ended, I handed them a $30 tip. They accepted it without so much as a simple "thank you" and appeared visibly dissatisfied.

I liked the massage therapist. The walls however are so thin that you can hear everything happening everywhere in the spa. The guy in the next room getting the massage was so loud. I also did not like the fact that I felt pressured to tip more than I wanted to. Tip culture is getting atrocious!

We were able to get appointments in the middle of the day during our staycation in the area. We were looking for something mild and affordable and ended up choosing a 30-minute full-body massage and a 30-minute foot massage. The front desk lady was helpful and didn’t pressure us to opt for a more expensive type of massage. We paid $60 for the massage and another $20 for tips. My therapist was skilled and accommodating when I requested more pressure. I highly recommend Ocean View Massage to those looking for a good massage at an affordable price in a clean environment. It may not be a fancy place to visit, but the therapists do a great job!
