Enso Sauna Jersey City

It’s so good to have a sauna in the neighborhood! Individual sessions are expensive ($55 for a single / $85 for a double), but the monthly subscription options are doable. It’s pretty easy to book a time that works for me using the Enso app. The check-in process is easy and the rooms are clean and tidy, although very small (can’t really stretch out in the sauna). But they heat up nicely and the staff are amazing - very friendly and helpful. There are lots of towels available, and each room comes with a robe and slippers + drinks water and a cold lavender face towel. The shower is not great - there’s only one for the whole space and it takes a long time for the water to heat up. Once it heats up it’s super hot and lowering it a little makes it cold again. I’d love it if the shower water pressure was better and the temperature would regulate well and stay warm when needed. I’ve also tried the massage chair, which is a very nice treat and kind of a hidden gem. 20 minutes in the chair works wonders for the body and mind. All in all, a great neighborhood place to stay warm in the winter and help with physical recovery after a long day.

I was skeptical about trying IR saunas, being that I am accustomed to traditional saunas that reach 220+ deg. I wasn't sure if I'd get a good sweat - I'm not an easy sweater😂 Enso offering their bundle packages was a great way for me to try it out, before I'd ever commit to possibly purchasing my own personal one for home. The facility is beautiful, spacious, modern and clean. The young gentleman who greeted me at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Being provided your own body wipes and a mini fridge containing water and a cold eucalyptus face towel were nice touches. You're also provided a light cotton robe and slippers, should you choose to use them. The IR Sauna is a reputable Sunlighten mPulse brand, offering both IR benefits as well as red light therapy. It was set at 150 deg when I first got in, and I immediately set it to the max of 167 deg. It took the cabin a bit to reach higher temps, but I found myself comfortably hot within the first 10 min or so as it was heating up. I didn't set up any audio or Netflix to stream within the cabin, but I imagine time would've elapsed much faster for me if I had done so. Instead, I got a little nap in. And when I woke, I was definitely plenty sweaty and satisfied. My upper back muscles felt less tense throughout the day, and my head felt clearer. I think it takes at least 3-4 sessions a wk to really notice true benefits, but so far I really recommend this tx and this facility.! Ample parking is available in the attached lot to the side

Had my 2nd Infrared Suana treatment today. Absolutely hook onto it. ! My body feels so refreshed & relaxed. They also had water for u to drink & a cool , eucalyptus face cloth after your session. They provided, bathrobes, towels, ph charges in your private room.There is an iPad on the wall for music or to watch something. Collin, once again made sure my session was relaxing, peaceful. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you, Collin for helping make the space into a place of what I needed. Will be back 🙂 Kathy

Had a second wonderful visit recently for contrast therapy. The establishment is always clean and fresh, but still cozy - not sterile. The infrared saunas are pretty neat - you can connect your Bluetooth to play meditation or ambient music, or whatever you please. The cold plunge seemed colder this time than our first visit, which we enjoyed! The cold eucalyptus towel in the fridge is such a beautiful touch and really elevates the experience. Overall we love it here! Only comment would be that the saunas don’t have stripping all the way around the whole door so we don’t think they can reach max temp; we’ve only ever seen max of 154, when they’re meant to get up to 167. Will ask about it next time we go!

Thrilled with my experience at this sauna studio! Yani was super helpful and kind. I tried the high-tech massage chair for 20 min and felt my muscles relax during the session. Then I went for the infrared sauna - wow! - loved it. It got hot, but in a good way. I was given a bathrobe, a hand towel, a bath towel and a pair of slides. Everything was of great quality. In the sauna room, there a tiny fridge with a cold face towel and small bottle of water. I had access to a private shower after the sauna. The whole place was well kept, clean, and cute. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to go back!

Really lovely! The staff were very sweet, the sauna room was beautiful with amenities like towels, a robe, slippers, water bottles, essential oil cold towel in a tiny fridge and water bottles. The sauna was nice and hot! Loved it!

Really lovely place. Staff was super helpful and friendly, even when arriving an hour before closing. The private room is spacious. Inside the sauna, I was able to connect to their wifi and Bluetooth. I had nice tunes while reading drenched in sweat. Oh, and it's affordable. Great place for after workouts. I will be returning.
