Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa at Jackson Hole

The location was perfect! We rented a cabin which was great for my kids not to share walls as they are earlier risers! The staff was friendly and accommodating, we had winter gear shipped ahead of our arrival and they kindly held it at the front desk. Daily breakfast is included in the stay and included eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, fruits, breads and cereals- more than enough to fill you up before for excursions. The room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave. Walkable to town and the Elk Refuge is right across the street. They offer a shuttle as well.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a visit to Jackson, Wy. and we stayed at the Rustic Inn. We had a cabin with a view of the creek which is the way to go. Our visit was at New Years so it was cold and snowing a lot. The property was decorated with lights and the snow was just what two Floridians needed! The cabin was very cozy, with a very comfortable king size bed. The mattress and pillows were comfy, that matters! We got a nice breakfast daily as part of the stay. The breakfast is buffet style with cold and hot choices, plenty of bacon! The location is perfect, just on the outside of downtown not too far if you wanted to walk, and in the opposite direction, the National parks. Our tours even picked us up in front of the main lobby, how convenient. The staff were friendly and answered all our questions, i got my wife the amour package for our anniversary and the staff set it up while we were on a tour so my wife walked in to see rose petals on the bed and fruit and sparkling wine on the table! She loved it! I would highly recommend the Rustic Inn.

Our honeymoon was incredible. We stayed in a suite for a week and enjoyed all the amenities. We had rose petals in the room, fresh strawberries with chocolate on them, a bottle of st. Michelle sparkling wine and a bottle of Pinot Gris with fresh red roses and cards from our family all waiting for us to arrive. We got an early check-in, and the next morning - Breakfast was amazing, slightly different each day and we appreciated the variety. The restaurant is also yummy, the cheesecake for dessert with a glass of sparkling wine was our favorite, which is why we ordered it multiple times during our stay. We loved walking the property early in the mornings, and sat by the teepee fire put out back at night. The fire-pits became the most magical & cozy spot late at night with the crispy Wyoming stars. It was truly perfect. The spa was also above and beyond, the outdoor hot tubs are cozy, and everything had so much detail it is hard to express how much we enjoyed ourselves. The shuttle service is a nice treat as well, we rented a vehicle but saved so much time not having to worry about parking in downtown. Thank you to the staff, it was so fun and easy to enjoy.

We arrived prior to our massage appointment to enjoy the sauna and hot tub. The area around the hot tub had no chairs, no tables to place our towels, robes or belongings. After being in a highly chlorinated hot tub I wanted to rinse off and hydrate my skin with some lotion. None to be found in the men’s locker room. I asked one of the massage therapist who happened to be walking by and she said "we don’t put lotion in the locker rooms". My response- "you don’t provide lotion in a spa locker room"? Her response "nope". She was very rude, snappy and short in her responses. The inside temp of the spa was 88 degrees. We felt like we were suffocating in very hot air. Unfortunately we ended up leaving before our appointments. We did not get a welcoming friendly vibe. Lack of interests in the customer needs. No thank you! I will take my time and money to another spa.

Constructive criticism. Y’all really oughta to switch from those little plastic bottles that create waste from their limited use (unless you are refilling them) and go to something like other hotels have switched to. Also have maintenance check the shower in 204 because when using the regular showerhead, cold water still comes out of the rain head. I’d get rid of the floating watermelon in the water option in the lobby. It really isn’t pleasant. If you feel you need something, peeled cucumber is common. We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was wonderful and we’ll be back for several more nights soon. What a great hotel.

We had a great stay here. Room was spacious but the bathrooms could use a little updating. Service was outstanding and location is great - it’s basically the first inn you see when driving into town from the JAC airport. They don’t provide airport shuttles but they do offer free rides into town. They also provide free breakfast. We had booked a couple of excursions ahead of time and the process went smoothly without any issues. I had an incident where I left my Apple Watch somewhere at the spa and Holly at the front desk went above and beyond to find it for me. I described to her where the location appeared to be from my app, and she asked the staff to go look for it. Not long after, someone was at my door delivering my Apple Watch back to me. Thank you so much, Holly and staff! Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.

What a hidden gem this hotel is! I love the "tiny home" concept where every room is its own cabin. I slept so well here, the bathroom was big and comfortable, the breakfast was more than adequate, convenient parking, and the grounds are just beautiful. I have been to Jackson many times and always stay somewhere different, but I can assert that Rustic Inn is my favorite spot I've stayed in town.
