Update! I decided to make another appointment. It was an ok massage. I had to continue repeating myself excessively. With me saying less pressure and to get certain knots, etc. The masseuse demanded a $50 tip for great service. She did not give great service. Her face was at most 4" from the receipt. While I signed and tipped. That is extremely rude, nosy, and you are unprofessional. How could anyone want to go back after that?! I've been here twice. I've been debating on giving this another go. The atmosphere is quiet. The staff is mostly polite. The scheduling seems troublesome. The bathroom was a bit messy and no soap was available twice. The entrance and the waiting area aren't too clean. The carpet is heavily stained. The walls are dirty as well as other walls in the building. The seats are old and uncomfortable. There is filtered water available. I have had two wonderful massages. A great and fitting pressure amount. They both were beneficial and helpful. Yet, unfortunately, not two great experiences as a whole. I was asked how much I'm tipping before the appointment even ended. Jenny (the masseuse) asked or said at least 12 times. Good massage, massage good, right? Then she insisted that $25 was too little of a tip. For a one hour massage. She tries the puppy face to get more of a tip. I don't feel it is right to cut this place off because of one bad experience. If I do go back. I'll be sure to give an update.

The massage itself was great and I was considering coming back until the last moment - when I was paying, I gave a tip ABOVE 20% and the lady taking my payment (who was not the masseuse) said there was a $20 tip minimum. Clearly they don’t understand what a tip actually is, and a $20/hr minimum tip equates to 30%! It became obvious the business owners are trying to pay masseuses ONLY the tip and making the customers pay for the full amount. If it’s required, you have to add it to the price. Worst of all, there was ZERO disclosure of this until the end, which ruined my experience. I called ahead to ask about pricing and nothing about the tip was mentioned, nor was there anything noting it in their posters inside the spa. I thought I was going to leave satisfied and relaxed, instead I left frustrated and disappointed. Don’t think I’ll be returning as I can’t support these types of business practices.

I arrived at Zen Garden today for a 90 minute session. When I arrived, I waited for about 15 minutes before heading to the back. I also didn’t get my full 90 minutes either. I was shorted 10 minutes but the icing on the cake was when I was paying.! The total came out to $92 with a fee to run my card. That made me feel like I should not have to pay a fee just because I am using my card instead of cash. It gets better, not only is she hovering over my shoulder to see what I am writing down the tip and total. She literally looked at me and asked me for more. I gave her 20% which equals out to being $18. I have been in the hospitality business all my life and that’s not something you do not do period even if you feel like it is wrong or not enough. She literally hounded me for ten more dollars and there was another lady there that did speak English and told me that she is asking for more because she massage me hard and I am big. I took that very disrespectful. I could not believe as a paying customer I am being questioned about what I choose to tip. I was in disbelief but just could not believe that this was happening. I want the owner to know that not only is this unacceptable and I am keeping my receipt till the final amount hits my account. I am requesting the owner to make this right.

I arrived last night with no appointment and did not know what to expect. I was in desperate need of a massage, so I figured I'd take my chances. The business is clean and the staff is polite and friendly. And to my surprise, I wound up getting one of the best massages I've ever had! I do not know the lady's name who gave the massage, but she was very skilled and helped to relieve the pain I was experiencing.

Best massage I've ever had! Very thorough and very relaxing! I've been a member at massage envy for 3+ years and after this massage, I am thinking about canceling my membership. As far as cons go, I did notice that all of the rooms (other than the one for couples massage) have curtains instead of doors. I can see this being an issue regarding noise. I had a couples massage, so I could hear very little inside of the room.

Best massage parlor in G-Town.I went for my 1st time and came out feeling like a new man. The place is very neat and has soft tranquil vibes when you enter. I left a big tip after I got my massage because I’m a big tipper. I can’t wait to book another one. I will be getting one every 2 months 😊

One of the BEST massages I have ever had! The ''Spa" is not huge, nor is it the fanciest place I have ever been to, but truly, I don't go there to look at the scenery ;-). (I have been to plenty of super fancy pretty places, and received horrible massages! Today, I go for the quality of the massage... Truly for the healing!) Anyway, I have a lot of bone and joint pain, and am currently dealing with a bad shoulder. Miss Vina gave me the BEST massage, and even worked on my shoulder a bit. During the massage, I could literally feel the knots coming out of my muscles, and the crackling of my joints! Vina found the knots and worked them out. Truly a talented masseuse! I feel awesome, and will definitely be going back! 5 stars!
