Nushka’s Spa has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 91 reviews on Google
This place may be small, but the service and kindness is huge! From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed and respected. Massage: Ivan is very communication forward, transparent, wonderfully compassionate, and completely professional. We talked about my health conditions, how the massage works, the process and techniques, and areas on the body, as well as discussing comfort levels and privacy concerns. This was my first lymphatic massage, and I definitely feel I choose the best place for this type of therapeutic massage. Ivan was very skilled, and extremely respectful throughout the entire process. By the end of my hour long service, I felt so light and relaxed, and had a significant reduction in overall pain. As someone with chronic pain, it's not easy to achieve that feeling. 10/10! The sauna: I spent 20 minutes in the red light sauna. It's relatively small, but could easily fit a larger person with room to move a bit. Sitting only (can't lay down), but I was able to fully cross my legs, and do a feet together position. There are controls inside and outside the sauna, and it's in a room with locking door for privacy (clothes optional/no bathing suit required). If the heat gets too much, you can open the sauna door slightly to get some cool air. Towels are provided, and there is a fully accessible shower inside the room for after your sauna session. The shower has a dual head and hand held combo, with the hand held on an accessible sliding bar, along with a fold down shower chair. There's a shampoo/conditioner/body wash combo for use, but it is scented for those sensitive to scents. Body Wrap & Facial: This was my first time getting both these services. Lucy and I instantly became friends. She's joyful and very respectful, with open communication. We discussed my health conditions, skin concerns, and went over my skin care routine (I was prepared and brought my most used products). It was really nice to get confirmation that the products I use are good quality and fit with my needs. She asked my comfort levels with body areas and was very respectful of privacy. We chatted through the whole process and it felt like I was having a spa day with a loving sister. I honestly can't begin to describe how comforting and 'at home' I felt throughout. The body wrap was a textual adventure for sure, but I'd definitely do it again! Lucy scrubbed me from neck to toe to exfoliate away all the years my scrubs in the shower have missed, then applied the body mask and wrapped me in a plastic sheet, then covered me with a really nice blanket to keep in body heat and activate the mask. I was surprised I didn't get too hot or sweaty, and it was actually really nice. During the wrap, Lucy went over my facial and we talked about a few concerns I had. Come to find out, I actually have really good skin. This was a great inner boost of confidence. She selected specific products based around my own routine and my needs. She then gave me a blissful facial massage, and even showed me how the lymphatic facial system works (I have a lot of puffiness in certain areas), and opted to give me a foot massage instead of hand massage (I was very happy about this). I then went to rinse off in the shower. We ended with some more lovely products to moisturizer and seal in all the goodness and a bit more facial massage. Nushka: This wonderful woman shows just how deeply she cares for her staff and the customer. You can tell she's 'no nonsense' with her business, and brings such warmth and compassion. It's a beautiful thing to see such a powerful woman blending those with natural ease. I ended up having a banking error during the checkout process with Lucy, and Nushka needed to come back to the spa to help. It's always embarrassing having any payment issues, even when it's no fault of your own. The level of compassion, understanding, and genuine humanity I was treated with made me feel so much better. We ended up fixing the issue, but the fact they were so compassionate was so refreshing! I wish I could give more stars!!!
I went to the spa for the first time this week. This will be my go to for as long as I live in Eugene. I got a pedicure and a facial. I loved that during the pedicure it was a prefect mix of conversation and time to relax. I'm an artist and often live very deep in my head. It was nice to have time to daydream and socialize. I really don't like spas or salons where people talk to me the whole time.
Ivan did a wonderful job on my hot stone massage, he was communicative and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. He made sure the pressure was not too hard or too soft the entire time and really worked out my problem areas. He made sure to understand my boundaries and was very professional yet friendly the entire time. The cost of the hot stone massage was very reasonable and I will absolutely be coming back again.
Best place for pedicure and facial in town. Seriously I've never had such meticulous care for my downtrodden, misshapen nails. Plus you won't be confronted with stinky chemical smells - this salon uses predominantly organic products. Visit Svitlana for nails and Sarina for heavenly facials and you won't be disappointed!
We recently relocated from Santa Barbara, CA to Eugene, OR and I was searching for a Day Spa for 3 services on Mother's Day. Nushka and her team delivered a day of excellence, ease and expertise. I booked a gel pedicure with Svitlana, a one hour massage with Ivan and Nushka did my facial. Each one was phenomenal, and I have traveled and experienced world-class spas in resorts globally. Their warm hospitality removes any pretense, but make no mistake: they are top notch at what they do and it was an outstanding experience. I will be back!
This place is absolutely fantastic. Friendly and professional staff that make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. They are ready to answer questions while still enabling you to relax. I have tried several of their treatments with zero complaints. My 8 year old is also a fan. Svetlana freehanded unicorns on her nails making my daughter feel very special. While I have no complaints about the spa itself, the parking lot is another story. It is very small (though the spaces are wide enough to not worry about any dents/dings) and you pretty much have to back out and onto the street.
Excellent experience! My manicure is perfect. The space is sweet and they use great products. Very knowledgeable staff. I felt welcome and enjoyed my service. Definitely will return.
