I’ve had a lot of massages but this was actually the best one. Communication was great. No pressure to rip. Still tipped cash. From the bottom of my feet to the top of my head, Eva was amazing. She stretched out my hips and even focused on my shoulder blades. 10/10
This was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. No one does massages quite like Californian spas, and this Thai massage was unlike any other! Great cost but I’d pay double the price for a massage here again. Staying at the Gaylord, is a short walk or drive away and might be the best massage in town.
I just had one of the best massages I’ve experienced in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt calm, clean, and welcoming. My therapist was incredibly attentive, professional, and really took the time to focus on the areas I mentioned. The pressure was perfect, the techniques were thoughtful, and I walked out feeling lighter, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. If you’re looking for a place that truly listens to your needs and delivers an amazing, restorative massage — this is it. Highly recommend!
I was staying at Gaylord less than a mile away and really wanted a massage while I was on my trip. There was no way I was paying the insane amount of money that the spa at Gaylord was requesting for a massage for less time and even more expensive. I took a short stroll down the street and found Venice Day spa. I would know that this isn’t really a day spa, as they only focus on massages. However, the massage that I got was a deep tissue for 90 minutes at $120. They have options for different kinds of massages for 60, 90, and 120 minutes. I went early in the day right after they opened and got in immediately. My Massage Therapist was great. She listened to my request on the amount of firm pressure that I wanted. The session was a full body, and it had some stretching tied in there as well. It was exactly what I needed. I would note that for those super modest, you may want to make a request to stay covered during the session. I’ve had some sciatic issues, so she worked the Glute pretty thoroughly and had it uncovered. I didn’t mind, but just wanted to make a note for any future guests if that is a concern. I would definitely return if I am in the area. I felt like it was a good value for this region in California and it was a great massage.
Got a 1 hour relaxing massage here, the massage itself was alright though the building was a little cold and the oil wasn't warm when my masseuse first started using it. My real issue though is that after the massage, my masseuse tried to pressure me to double the tip I was leaving. After her asking me repeatedly if it was ok if she charged $20 instead of $10, she relented slightly and asked if she could charge $15 instead. I had to say 3-4 times I was only intending to leave a $10 tip. On top of that, they charge a $3 fee for using card, which I didnt necessarily mind at first. But I paid before my massage and so was charged $3 then had another $3 charged for the separate tip payment at the end. Kinda made me want to not leave a tip at all at that point. Just raise your prices instead of pressuring customers to leave you extra money if times are getting that tough.
Emily is the best massage 💆 Excellent service
I had a really good massage, she oiled me up real good and i felt all the pain in back shoulder go away. it’s really relaxing and i was happy with my experience here definitely coming back.
