Happy Head Foot Reflexology and Massage Spa - Chula Vista at Terra Nova Plaza

We’ve been going to Happy Head Massage for at least ten years, and there’s a reason we keep coming back! The massage therapists are truly incredible, professional, skilled, and always attentive to what we need. The girls at the front desk are always so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating, no matter how busy it gets. Every visit has been a great experience, and I have zero regrets about choosing Happy Head again and again. My husband goes as well, and he loves it just as much as I do. If you’re looking for a place that consistently delivers amazing service and relaxing, high-quality massages, this is it. Highly recommend!

We paid for deep-tissue massages, but what we received was nowhere close. The massage was mostly gentle, superficial rubbing and a lot of elbow work—nothing like what we were told to expect or what we paid for. We even informed the front desk during the appointment that we wanted a firm, strong massage. We should receive a genuinely strong, therapeutic treatment, not the light "soft-touch" service we ended up with, which fell far short of what was promised. Our session created more stress and headache than being relaxed.

So this time around was my third time going there, it was the best experience I've had there. I can't remember the therapist's name but she did a great job, the massage was very relaxing and she applied the perfect amount of pressure, and I'm pretty sure I dozed off a couple of times too 😆. The woman at the front desk was also very nice and very helpful (I dont know her name either 😆). I do alot of weight training throughout the week so the session helped with my muscle soreness, I will make another appointment soon, thank you guys.

I don't know what type of massage they provided but definitely not what I booked for, it almost seemed like the massage therapist wasn't even trained, I am actually sore after what was supposed to be a swedish relaxing massage. We also booked for 90 min and it was less than that.

Cathy was amazing. It was my first time with her. I needed a gentle soothing yet firm touch. I’ve had many Swedish massages at Happy Head. She ranks high. I felt she gave more than 100%.

If there was zero stars that's what I would give it. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Happy Head Massage at Terra Nova, Chula Vista. We scheduled an early morning appointment so we could go straight to the massage after work, and we even paid extra for babysitting so we could have uninterrupted time. We decided to go today at 4:00 PM after arranging a sitter, and we arrived at 3:55 PM. What happened next was unacceptable. We were escorted into the room only at 4:06 PM, despite arriving five minutes early. I had to request a different masseuse because the first masseuse was not delivering the deep-tissue pressure I requested and paid for. A second masseur arrived at 4:17 PM, but even then, the service remained far below expectations. We paid for a 90-minute session, and both massages ended at 5:30 PM, with the room being left at that time. This is not only frustrating but feels like a complete waste of money. This has not been an isolated incident at this location. In the past, I’ve experienced similar issues, and it has become a pattern that management and staff don’t seem to take seriously. When I spoke to the front desk about these concerns, they appeared uninformed and offered only a half-hearted "sorry" with a $10 credit as a band-aid solution. This is insultingly insufficient given the money and time wasted. The experience left my husband and me stressed rather than relaxed. My husband’s massage was not a deep-tissue treatment; it was mostly light, soothing rubbing, which is far from what was promised and paid for. He didn’t even speak up at the time because he felt uncomfortable, which is not acceptable. He deserves a strong, therapeutic massage, not passable "soft touch" that fails to meet expectations. The entire process was inconvenient and far from relaxing. We went out of our way to arrange child care and allocate time that would be a stress-free break, only to leave more stressed and disappointed than we arrived. This cannot be tolerated, and it certainly does not meet the standard of service one should expect from a massage establishment.

My new favorite massage place! The girls in the front are so nice! I did a foot massage and it was amazing!!!! Definitely Im coming back!!!
