The Sanctuary Spa

This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back! The staff was so friendly and the facility is clean and beautiful. They offered me a drink right away (a delicious mimosa) and a heated neck wrap while I waited. I had a Mani/Pedi and facial by Rachel and she was wonderful. Such a relaxing experience from beginning to end.

I expected better from Sanctuary Spa. I purchased two gift cards months ago for important birthdays, and neither recipient ever received theirs. These were time-sensitive gifts, and it’s unacceptable that both failed to be delivered. I’m requesting immediate resolution, but this experience has severely impacted my trust in the business. I also want to note that these two gift cards were purchased a month apart, and neither recipient ever received them. My mom never received hers for Mother’s Day either — the only reason she used it at all is because she already knew about the appointment. Otherwise it would have been completely lost. After leaving my review, I received a voicemail from the spa blaming the post office, even though the cards were supposedly mailed at three separate times. At that point, it’s clear the issue isn’t USPS — it’s the spa’s handling of gift cards.

Adam and team treated me so well. I lost my fiance recently and their kindness and empathy was amazing. Always such a great experience but to have shown me such support and just what I needed. Thank you always an amazing experience. Blessings to you!!!!

Came in today for a massage for the first time and it was amazing! I was super nervous at first, but with the relaxation room and complimentary drink (which was delicious!), it definitely helped. Roberto was able to understand where my pain and discomfort was at and easy to talk to. Once Roberto was done, I was more relaxed than I have been in years and ready for a nap! The hot towels and essential oils definitely helped. Definitely will be returning soon

Absolutely the best pedicures my wife and I have ever experienced! We did the full couple's pedicures in the couple's room. Sarah & Jen are both amazing at the experience they provide! You simply have to try this for yourself to fully understand what true luxury indulgence is at a spa. On a scale of 1-10, we give them a 15! We've already booked our next appointment & are looking forward to it. Thank you, Sarah and Jen, and the entire staff at Sanctuary Spa Cedar Rapids! Bravo 👏 👏 👏

Speechless. The service was astounding. First time massage and first visit. They exceeded any expectations I had in mind. Claire was a godsend. Front staff was very attentive. The hot green tea was perfect temperature right away. Towels were just right. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Thank you!

sanctuary spa is truly one of a kind—i’ve never been anywhere like it in the cedar rapids area. from the moment you walk in, the space is absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. the staff is beyond kind, both over the phone and in person. they go out of their way to make sure your experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible—even offering to carry my purse into the facial room, which was such a thoughtful touch. one thing that really stood out to me was how accommodating they were. due to past trauma, i requested to stay fully clothed during the massage portion of the ultimate indulgence plus facial, and they were completely understanding and respectful of my request, which meant so much. beyond the exceptional service, everything about this spa is amazing—the drinks are delicious, the waiting room is actually fun to spend time in, and the entire experience is just pure relaxation. i was afraid i wouldn’t be able to unwind, but it was such an out-of-body experience. the facial was incredible, it felt amazing on my skin, and most importantly, it was so nice to just be pampered and not have to think about anything else. if you’re looking for a place to truly treat yourself, sanctuary spa is it. can’t recommend it enough!
