I don’t want to knock a small business. I hope my review will help them to retain & grow repeat business. I have been to the little mom & pop shops to the best spas for many years - everywhere. We are very lucky to have so many AMAZING amenities in our backyard! Some of the best massages I have ever had were from Asian-Owned facilities. They really take the time to study and bring elements of true attention to detail that everyone can appreciate. With the price of EVERYTHING now, massage for me, is more of a luxury item than a need. I work damn hard to earn that $60. So a massage is a treat. I hope Kings Massage can understand that we work hard too and take to heart - that when a we pay them for their time, they give us the best experience possible. You should us to come back. Repeat business if everything! Back to my constructive criticism (meant with the best intentions) 1) I asked for med-hard and then hard 3x and still got lighter than a feather. I came for a massage, not a back "rub". You 2) I’m am used to being fully nude for a massage because that’s what you are supposed to do. I have never felt uncomfortable or weird about it until now. In my many experiences, the masseuse has always taken great care to make sure I was fully covered. This one single experience was the opposite. I was was definitively cringing and basically mortified. I was so exposed in a very non-professional way that I hope they improve and the client is more empowered to leave their underwear on. I walked out embarrassed and again, I didn’t even get a massage? Her touch wasn’t gross or unprofessional (other than not being able to massage) It was being completely exposed almost the entire time!!!!!. How can you relax when you think your masseuse is more interested in your beaver that working on the knot in your shoulder? This was the first time I was ever asked to pay up-front. I should have known. The "masseuse" was a lovely, young girl. I’m hopeful my experience helps her and the business grow and understand that what happened to me should not ever happen again. She had such an incredible view of my parts that I almost feel like I’m owed money?!?! PS: No, my name isn’t Karen or Chad. My only goal is to be the Costco of Yelp and inspire our local businesses to meet or exceed our standards 🙂
Tried calling twice and no answer/no voicemail set up. Passed by two days ago and it looked closed. Not sure if this business is still open.
I stopped by to check it out. Place was NICE. Massage Girl was friendly and Cute. I Will Go Back.
This was the first time I was ever asked to pay up-front for a massage. This was the first red flag. The room was freezing. They put like an oversized napkin over your private areas during the massage. The massage was horrible. I highly doubt these people have any formal training. They started with and only massaged the backside of my body. I say "they" because the "therapist" left 1/2 way through the massage and was replaced by another one. It was by no means serene or relaxing. The "therapists" talked to each other during the transition. One of the therapist was also talking to her co-workers through the wall during my massage. I could also hear the other employees talking to each other throughout the entire massage. They used that tapping technique and a squeezing method that felt like I was being pinched. I was left with black and blue bruises on my legs from this massage. Run from this place…worst massage experience ever. I don’t understand how they remain in business. I will never go back.
Not a good experience. We had an appointment for 3, including a couple’s massage. All three massages began late, one was 20 minutes late. During our couples massage, the two massage therapists babbled away to each other, and one’s phone rang three times. She left the room each time and answered it, and I believe she was booking massages appointments. Our friend’s therapist kept leaving the massage room to greet new customers, as she was also doing double duty as the receptionist. This terrible ambiance completely destroyed the sense of relaxation and serenity I’ve experienced at other massage venues. All three massages ended exactly one hour after the appointment time, despite the late starts and interruptions, so we were shortchanged a significant amount. They are understaffed, undertrained, and with few of the usual massage business professionalism or courtesies extended to the customers. We felt as if we had been taken advantage of by this massage business, and we will not return or recommend them.
My Wife and I came here for a 90 minute massage. It was an amazing experience. It was very comfortable and relaxing. I’m sure the masseur can make everybody happy because they’re patient and they listen good. We will return.
Amazing experience! The massage was good and the therapist was attentive to my needs (despite their limited English). If you are looking for a great therapeutic massage this is a fantastic deal! If you prefer more of the spa type massage (spa music, aromas and tuck the sheet in every crevice)...this may not be for you. Having received massages from all over the world, I would say my treatment here was better then most and the hot stones is a nice treat!
