Lovely Spa

I booked in for a back and foot massage and Amy was excellent! She tailored the massage to my condition, I have been struggling with a lot of back pain and stiffness. She applied strong localized pressure and completely resolved all my back tension. And my feet never felt so relaxed. I would certainly go back.

I did not like my massage. It was very painful. I asked her many times to go medium or soft but her medium was still very hard for me. I have a tiny petite body and im sensitive but she still kept massaging me hard so because of this i wasnt relaxed at all. Also she kept asking me almost every 10 minutes if i like the massage, if i will come back, etc. it was too much asking, i didnt finish my massage yet how can i even know. I was in pain the whole time and was praying for it to be quickly over. She breathes really loud and her hands super shaky like she had a lot of caffeine or something and i can feel all that in my massage which also made it hard for me to be relaxed. Also she gave me a deep tissue massage that i didnt ask for, i wanted to ask her what options there were when i first came in but she rushed me in without explaining anything. Ill put 2 stars because she was kind and im sure she meant well. I still tipped her anyway for her effort and being kind but other than that, i will not be coming back as that was the most painful massage ive ever gotten in my life. I almost thought she was going to break my ribs because she glided her elbow very deep in that it felt like a sharp knife. I just wish she listened more instead doing what she wanted to do.

It was an amazing experience! I had the most fantastic foot massage, full body massage, and facial that left me feeling like a new person. Gigi was not just fantastic but also gave very helpful tips for helping to get my acne under control. Can't recommend enough!

A huge Mistake!!!!!! I didn’t enjoy my experience. I was left in the room by myself most of the time. In stead of a relaxing and peaceful spa I was laying down by myself waiting for the specialist to jump in the room and touch my face. She was working on two people at the same time. I’m not even sure if she was washing her hands between clients. It was very disappointing. And the price was overpriced for the service and experience. After the visit was over I paid for the service and the guy at the front desk attacked me for not leaving a tip. As if it’s mandatory whether the service was worth tipping or not. I will not go back or recommend anyone to go there.

I had the most wonderful relaxing deep tissue massage from Chichi! I am so grateful for the care and attention provided. I had been experiencing excruciating shoulder pain for the past 2 weeks and she helped me to loosen and relax my muscles, my shoulders feel amazing now! I definitely recommend.

EDIT: downgrading to a 2 because the owner saw my review stating that I was overcharged for my service and didn't do anything to even attempt to refund me. The reviews here looked solid so I took a shot at this place but just wasn’t impressed. Scheduling an appointment over the phone was difficult, the woman could not understand what I was asking for and then instead of confirming my time slot over the phone she said I’d hear from them before my appointment? I then got a text message confirming the service, date and time, so whatever, weird intro. When I got to the spa and told them I had a reservation, they had no clue what my service was, even though my text had confirmed the 2 hour couples massage I had booked. I told the woman again what we were getting, but when we got to the room she asked who wanted to go first, which was a bit strange to have just one masseuse for a couples massage... the second masseuse showed up about 10-15 minutes in, so I guess better than never. My boyfriend and I were running early, so maybe this was the reason, but there was no communication whatsoever about needing to wait for the second woman. After all of this, the massage only lasted one hour, even though I had booked a 2 hour. The women both just stopped, and after some earlier language barrier problems I didn’t even attempt to try and remind them about the extra hour I’d booked. Once we were paying, the woman accidentally overcharged my card, telling me she accidentally put $180 when it should have been $160. Now that I’m looking at their rates again I when writing this review, the hour couples massage should have only been $145, so another thing that got messed up. The massage itself was good, but all of these other hiccups really took away from the relaxing experience I wanted.

Well...I started to have Tony as my hair stylist during the pandemic due to the recommendation from my friend. Basically, Tony was the best hair stylist I have ever met in Boston despite I have tried many stylists before. Moreover, not only his unique standard of identifying the beauty, but also his remarkable skills acted as a light in the dark night, illuminated me from struggling with selecting the most appropriate hair style. Another staff whose name is Amy worked here as massagist. She provided terrific services which are aimed to reduce the pain. In fact, not only her elegant personality, but also her professional skills that were performed in this relaxed period of time made me not to suffer from the injury. Overall, this place is nice and clean. The atmosphere here attracted many consumers from Boston.
