Very caring & professional staff!!! We flew in from out of state & really needed a massage for my sore back. Tammy, Kay, and team made sure our experience was excellent!! Our massage therapist was there absolute best & our trip in Co continued a lot better with my rejuvenated back. We will use this spa whenever we are in CO!!!
Clean and nice staff. I have had good experiences here before. However, the most recent time I went it was $150+ for 50 minutes massage and a mandatory 22% tip charge. The problem is the massage was more like 40 minutes and the massage was probably the bottom experience we have had. My recommendation is to include the total cost upfront. Did not like the hidden 22% mandatory tip charge for a lacking service. Too expensive for what you get.
Such a wonderful experience! The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I enjoyed the sauna prior to my massage and honestly could have fallen asleep in there! My masseuse Molly was wonderful and took extra care of my problem areas after a long week of travel. I loved the aromatherapy and the champagne at the end is a lovely touch. My only critique is I wish there was music in the relaxation and sauna room. Otherwise, I am ruined for massages anywhere else!
Overall I was disappointed. The front desk who booked my appointment was so sweet and helpful. I liked tat they offered couples massages had a hot tube that I could use after the appointment. Unfortunately, the hot tube was closed that day so we couldn't use it. It was nice that they offered champagne and tea after your massage. We also got robes to change into and they had a nice bathroom with complimentary toiletries. I paid $371 for a 50 minute couples massage. I just felt like it was too expensive for what we got. I left feeling disappointed with my massage and my boyfriend was too. My masseuse said she would start with my back and then move down to my lower body. I said that sounded good. She ended up only working on my upper body. Then very briefly rubbed my feet and lower legs with a warm cloth. I expected her to at least rub lotion on my feet and legs but she never did. Next time I'll go somewhere else and pay the same amount and get a longer massage.
I have been here twice now in the last 2 years and have been disappointed each time. And I won’t be going back. When I am paying $150 for a 50 minute massage I expect more from the overall spa experience and ambiance. The amenities make the massage and this place simply doesn’t have much to offer. You end up just going in and out quickly without much retreat relaxation vibe. The sauna didn’t work both times and it’s not a nice large sauna that you can lay down in, it’s tiny and never got the hot the first time, and today It was entirely broken. There is no steam room or private hottub/pool. I went outside to go in the public hottub (shared by hotel guests), and It was filthy, bugs sticks leafs galore. So I didn’t even feel comfortable going in. The rooms they place you in before are not anything special and doesn’t have lounge type relaxing vibe. They do have small fruit and snacks and water/tea. The only plus side of this place is the employees are very kind, professional and nice. I just think this spa is and afterthought in the hotel, maybe it’s better suited for people coming in for business than locals. My massage wasn’t great either, probably 5/10. I will say though that the summer time was better than winter with the pool and fire pit/bar.
Sarah is by FAR the best masseuse I have ever had. Saying she was amazing would not describe how incredible she was! This spa is a must!
Sport massage by Terri was very bad. The pressure was inconsistent throughout. This deep tissue massage felt like she was simply applying lotion and playing with my hair when using her hands and when using elbows was extremely deep in some areas quickly transitioned back to a light touch. Lack in communication, ambiance was off, and basically little to no massage below the waist. However, loved my facial with a different gal and got a real massage with her on scalp, arms, hands/upper body. Overall overpriced and left disappointed mostly because of the (lack of) massage I paid $190 for with the CBD add on. UPDATE: I spoke with Christina the manager and was extended a massage with a different therapist. I was given the option of which scent I wanted and after I was given a CBD tea (both should have been included in service originally) and the massage was amazing. I think the team did a wonderful job making up for a bad service originally. And I was able to experience this 5 star company for what they are. Thank you for having me back!
