Booked a haircut with Ivy and she was wonderful, the whole process was a good experience and she took her time so I was satisfied with my results. The only reason for one less star is their pricing, when I booked online initially it didn’t match up the higher cost(for long hair $120 at most according to booking, which my hair is only to my chest, as pictured) compared to the in-store pricing sign, so that part is slightly misleading. I would suggest the salon update their pricing range online and make it more clear so it doesn’t catch people off guard when seeing a higher price upon entering the salon. So when I got to the salon she told me the price upfront which is $150(not including tips), I was a little surprised but I only cut my hair once a year so I wanted to give this place a try. The results were good but I did regret paying that much for it, so will probably go back to Chinatown and get my haircut there instead because for the same price including tips I can get a full head spa and not just shampoo and haircut. Wishing this salon the best though because overall they do a really good job with haircuts if you’re willing to pay the price.

The pricing here is completely transparent, and they clearly explain the expected results and costs upfront—no hidden charges at all, which I really appreciate! I had previously dyed my hair by myself, and the color was very uneven. Sky patiently adjusted the shades again and again, communicating with me throughout the process and making sure we were on the same page. In the end, I finally got the exact color I wanted! The result is amazing and far beyond my expectations. Huge thanks to Sky for the professionalism and dedication. This is definitely my go-to salon from now on!

A few weeks ago, I had gone to get a perm from another salon but hadn’t gotten a haircut and the perm had severely dried out my hair. I needed to do damage control with a trim and hair treatment with Lan. She took such good care of my hair with making sure to double check how I wanted it styled. She put a lot of attention to detail into it and told me about ways to take care of my hair better. It was exactly what I wanted - Lan truly saved my hair. I highly recommend Lan for all your hair styling needs!! (See the before and after photos below)

Colored my full hair and Ivy did such delicate job of evening out the overall tone! It was a difficult task since my root hair has already grown out quite a bit and I had a very bright brown lower part but it turned out great and I love the result 🤎❤️

Decided to get my first bob after years of having long hair earlier this year but realized I have a crazy cowlick with shorter hair! - After months of research, I opted to try a perm and found this gem of a salon with great reviews and took a chance and was extremely happy with my results! I’ve been back twice already! I did a perm and cut and will definitely be coming back! Lan did such an amazing job, highly recommend booking with her! Super attentive, professional and kind 🙂

Ivy does a fantastic haircut and Sky’s attention to detail when coloring is amazing. I went from dark to honey blonde with tricky colored hair, and the results were great. I didn’t even believe I could get my hair this bright in single bleach. I enjoy spending time in this salon because everyone is so welcoming. I would recommend.

In 2022 SKY opened her salon. I followed her from Chinatown to Allston. I was SKY‘s first customer. I have continued to return here since 2022.. My hair is difficult to cut, Sky always gives me a perfect haircut. The salon is wonderful. Sky offers coffee,,water& soft drinks for her clients. It’s a pleasure to come hereI. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to receive such great service always a wonderful haircut year after year month after month.
