Roffi Salon & Day Spa Boston

I love Roffi Salon & Day Spa. I have been a client of Michael Roffi for 35 plus years. I feel as though I have grown with his entire staff. The Roffi Salon is a very professional yet fun. From long hair to short hair, from straight to curly and colored I have tried it all and have never been disappointed. I cannot say enough about this salon other than if you have never been, you do not know what you are missing. One of my sisters travels from Rowley to have her hair cut by Tommy, as she feels that he is the only hairdresser she has found that cuts her hair the way she likes it and is able to manage it between cuts.

Have been going to Brittni for about a year now at Roffi, and I can honestly say it's one of the most consistently good haircuts I've had. The salon itself is very nice, occupying the second and third floors of a Newbury St. brownstone. They have most of the usual comfort items you'd like to see at a downtown Boston salon; water, coffee, comfortable seating, etc. The prices are about what you would expect for downtown Boston, if not even slightly lower. The salon is often very active, but I never feel over-crowded, and appointments are rarely, if ever, running behind. But in the end, the salon is only as good as the stylists, and Brittni has been fantastic, I would recommend to anyone (my wife has been going to Brittni for several months now as well).

I've now been going to the Roffi Salon for the past three years and Susanne does both my color and cuts. I am so glad that I have found her. She is a master colorist and hair stylist. I really can't say enough about her except to say that I wouldn't go to anyone else. My hair is not the easiest, yet she is able to provide a style that I can work with, unlike so many other salons that I had tried over the years. She really cares about her clients. The salon itself is a pleasure as well with artist's work adorning the walls, music at a comfortable volume, plenty of coffee and tea and a hospitable owner. It's a lovely respite to whatever kind of day I am having.

Definitely my best salon experience in Boston. The atmosphere is lovely and friendly - delicious complimentary coffee and cappuccino, for one - but the services stand out. I went in for a cut, glaze, scalp treatment, and blowout deal they were offering through Gilt City - a GREAT deal off of already very reasonable prices - because I wasn't happy with the way my thick, curly hair was getting cut. My stylist Maria listened carefully to what I wanted, took plenty of time to discuss some ideas and tips (no rushing me through decisions!) and gave me a haircut that is the best I've had in years. Also, the natural scalp treatment (which I was told one of the stylists concocted herself) is awesome.

Katie Pape at Roffi Salon is truly an artist when it comes to all things hair related. She literally does it all! She has been coloring my hair now for over a decade and there's no one else I would want doing it. Katie is also phenomenal at styling hair for weddings and special events- she did my hair for my wedding and several members of the bridal party and they all looked gorgeous. Katie is also a great human being who is invested in her clients as well. I can’t recommend Katie enough!

I have very curly hair and have been trying to find a salon that really understands what to do with it. When I first contacted Roffi Salon I was greeted warmly and was offered a consultation with Brittni. She listened to me and for the first time in years I got the haircut that I envisioned. From the time I arrived to the time I left, my experience was superb. I will definitely return.

I am a 16 year old boy who has been going here since I was 10 and I have never had a bad experience. I always go to Katie when I can, however, when she is away on vacation I am not worried because you have to really be a professional to work here. Everyone always has a smile on their face and is very welcoming. Over the years I have seen many different people through Roffi's ... younger boys and girls, older men and women, and everything in between. I go to school in Connecticut and got my hair cut down there once and only once. It was so different there in every way and was not even close to as good. The whole design of Roffi Salon is very nice from the waiting room to all the cutting areas. It is all thoughtfully designed to perfection. If you are looking for a hair cut this is the #1 PLACE IN THE BOSTON AREA TO GO TO!
