The Restoration Asheville

One of the best hotel experiences I have had. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted by a friendly staff member. The hotel looked great inside and many comfortable areas to sit and relax. There was a large bar in the main restaurant and another bar with games in the basement. Every morning there was a breakfast gift basket at our door which was a nice touch. The room was very elegant and spacious. We went to several amazing restaurants within walking distance. We also used the hotel shuttle to drop us off at a bar a few miles away and then they told me to text them to get picked up. When I did they came immediately. I don't know if I will return to the city as theres not a lot of entertainment for me personally but if I do I will definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at The Restoration Asheville. The location is fantastic and very walkable to restaurants and shopping. Valet service was quick and helpful, and the lobby and overall design are beautiful. The front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable—Derek truly went above and beyond to make the stay special.||The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the bed was excellent. I did experience a minor TV issue, but the staff handled it professionally and offered solutions. The morning picnic basket breakfast and daily wine and charcuterie social hour were such thoughtful, charming touches. While the restaurant itself is lovely, the dining experience didn’t quite stand out—but this didn’t detract from an otherwise great stay. I would happily return and recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our 3-might stay during a holiday weekend here. The rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Small amenities like a bath robe and room slippers were not overlooked and much appreciated for hotels at this caliber. Our beds were exceptionally comfortable, even the pillows were a mix of firm and plush so every member of our family found the right pillow for their comfort. The morning baskets are appreciated and a nice touch, although the savory pastries are cold and we could not eat them without reheating but there wasn't a microwave in the room. We had weekend brunch at The Watch and the food was adequate and good value. Did not visit the bar so could not comment on the cocktails. The rooftop lounge was closed for the season. The Draftsman speakeasy was a nice touch, though the games were off limits to children past 9pm. The hotel is centrally located and we could walk to pretty much all points of interests downtown, we would definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful hotel conveniently located to everything. The staff was very friendly. The room was quiet, I didn't hear another guest the three nights I was there. The bed was firm and comfortable but the pillows weren't great and that, unfortunately, impacted my sleep. However, that's personal preference and nothing I would decrease my rating over, just a note. We visited the Draftsman and enjoyed playing some of the games and listening to live music. Bowling was broken for the night so we couldn't enjoy that but everything else was was fun. The library room is gorgeous and makes a beautiful statement when you walk in. I would have loved to grab a drink and sit and read but the location didn't make it quiet or private, it felt more decorative than practical. Overall it was a gorgeous hotel, conveniently located, and the staff was friendly.

Gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown Asheville! An easy walk to shops and restaurants, it blends comfort with style at every turn. Our room was beautiful and inviting, with a spacious bathroom and a stunning mountain view. The in-room lite breakfast basket was a thoughtful, memorable touch. We loved exploring all the different spaces throughout the property. The lobby offers a cozy sitting area and a small service bar that hosts a complimentary happy hour from 5–6. The on-site restaurant is bright and airy, featuring floor-to-ceiling glass that opens to a lovely patio. Upstairs, the rooftop bar serves lite bites alongside incredible views. And on the ground floor, the lively bar area includes plenty of games—even a two-lane bowling alley. A truly delightful stay from start to finish. There are lots of good hotel choices in the Asheville - this is our favorite!

Our stay at The Restoration was great from start to finish. Rick at valet was incredibly kind and helpful, even taking our bags to the room and sharing excellent restaurant recommendations. Valet is highly recommended since the hotel is close to so many shops and restaurants and very walkable. Leighla at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and comfortable, though next time we’ll request a higher floor due to some noise from the bar/lounge. Checkout was quick and easy with Derek. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Asheville.

Everything was comfortable and welcoming! Clean rooms, towels, and comfortable beds! The concierge, Mary, fantastic. So friendly and helpful in booking last-minute plans for us. She truly made our stay even better...as did the breakfast baskets in the morning, came in clutch! Highly recommend!
