I love soaking in NM hot springs but sometimes I don’t want to drive out of ABQ. We found Betty’s a couple months ago and were hooked. The service is friendly, welcoming & informative. It is clean and well tended to. You can tell they really care about the atmosphere they provide. They offer soaking, massage therapy and spa treatment. However, we’ve only soaked. They have 2 private salt water tubs that can be reserved by the hour ($60). The one we were in also had a dry sauna and cold rainfall shower. Talk about self-care and serenity. The parking lot was full so I am sure that this hidden gem is a local fave. We cant wait to try some of the treatments they offer.

I cannot recommend this business. If you are busy and make a mistake on your booking don’t think you can rebook another time. They charge you in full even though you don’t get your service. I booked an appointment or was trying to for a weekend. I selected the day I wanted and apparently it went to a different day which was the following day… I saw 9:30 AM and booked it went through the stuff etc… didn’t even think to look at the date because I thought I had it eight. Little did I know I got the wrong date mistakenly. They told me it’s your fault and you have to pay the full amount. So because their site was confusing and I made a mistake I lost out on $270. I can understand paying a fee but $270 is crazy for a simple mistake. They didn’t perform the service and got free money from me. This is as crooked as it gets and I will never recommend a business that operates this way. I do not recommend these people at all. Terrible business policy and I wouldn’t enjoy their services any longer after knowing they are so hard wired to follow a policy so blindly for a mistake. Find a better business to give your money to and avoid this one.

I am giving this one star because of the management and their rigid, cold enforcement of their cancellation policy. To be clear, this has nothing to do with the quality of the services provided, but everything to do with how they treat their customers. I understand having a policy in place, but the staff showed zero empathy or flexibility. I had specifically taken a day off work and arranged for a babysitter just to make this appointment happen. When an issue arose, the staff remained completely indifferent to the significant effort and personal expense I went through to be there. There was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience on my end, just a 'rules are rules' attitude. It’s disappointing that a business centered on relaxation and care lacks basic human empathy in their customer service.

The service I received from Brooklyn was exceptional. She was incredibly kind and respectful, and she took the time to explain what she was doing throughout the entire process, which made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly stood out. I highly recommend Brooklyn and hope the owner recognizes her for her hard work and dedication.

I really enjoyed my facial and everyone seems really nice. My only complaint would be their locker room/bathroom set up. People are getting undressed and showering and no offense these people need privacy. I don't want to need to use the bathroom and see some random person naked coming out the shower. People apparently enjoy walking around naked with no towel there 🤷‍♀️ Cool for you, but not everyone wants to see that. The floor was wet by where the bathroom stalls are so someone could slip as well. They need another seperate bathroom area. Other than the odd bathroom everything was really nice in there.

Had a phenomenal massage and therapist was super friendly and helpful. She even gave me some extra stretching tips to help problem areas. Front desk seemed a little less friendly. There was a line and I heard everyone was offered water/tea, but when I came up was quickly handed robe to go bac... Not the biggest deal- I arrived ten min early but there was a line so it is what it is. However, when I came to leave and pay they were completely free of customers, and still pretty short with me not even helpful in the questions I had. Regardless, very happy and relaxed from my massage!

My husband and I booked a 1 hour hot tub and 2 one hour blissful massages. The first issue we came across was that the hot tub we were in wasn’t hot at all and the website specified temps of 104 degrees. The water was more luke warm temperatures and we were thinking it might be due to the cold temperatures the night before and we got to use the dry sauna so we weren’t going to complain about it and just let them know the temperature regulator might be broken. However, during our massages, the massage therapist I had was not very good. I booked the blissful massage which I’m use to the therapist focusing on my problem areas I specify with some light rolling or stretching to release tension but still massaging the muscles and providing relaxation with pain relief. He didn’t doing any massaging on my back or legs, and mostly rolled me around and stretched me out and that’s not what I wanted nor expected for 30 minutes. Before I knew it, he had me turn over onto my back and never massaged my back like I told him to focus on before the session started. I left the room very irritated and upset with the session. I spoke with the attending manager before we left and she said all she could do was give me a 20% discount off my massage because I still received a "service" (if that’s what you call a service). I told her that it wasn’t what I booked and didn’t get the benefits of a true massage like I’ve always had and even demonstrated on her what the session felt like and she her facial expressions showed confusion as to why he didn’t provide better massage techniques. At this time we told her about the hot tub and she didn’t even try to give us any compensation for the Luke warm water and just said she’ll look into it. When it came to the therapist treatment, she said all she will do is talk to him, find out what happened, and refer him to the manager that oversees the massage team so he can make it better for OTHER future customers and put in my file not to book him with me in the future. That in my opinion did nothing to resolve the situation at the time and I still paid for almost a full treatment. My pain was so bad after this that I went to see another massage therapist at a different location 2 days later and paid an additional amount to relieve the back and neck pain. I sent an email to them through their online portal and still a week later I haven’t received any reply as to how this affected me physically and monetarily. We have been to other spas in the area and other states and NEVER experienced this type of service before. Truthfully as a Albuquerque resident, I don’t think we will ever return to Betty’s because of their inability to provide adequate services to a paying customer as what is specified on the website and lack of leadership to make things right for a paying customer. It might be more expensive to go to another location around the Albuquerque or Santa Fe area but at least I know I’ll be provided the services I’m paying for and won’t have to worry about paying extra fees to have my pain relieved by another therapist.
