I had an amazing massage there done by Heather. Her energy was so calming and she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole experience. Her massage technique was one of the best I've ever had. Definitely a 10 out of 10!

🙋🏿‍♀️I used to get monthly wellness treatments here for health and wellness benefits until I decided to give a particular type of wellness treatment a try. Probably not anytime soon or ever again here. My last wellness treatment felt super sharp and painful when the provider administered the treatment on me. It unusually seemed as though the provider’s technique didn’t really prevent it from being sharply painful & unpleasant during the process this time around, for the final full dosage. OUCH!!! 🤕😣I felt the sharpness from the treatment like never before. Unfortunately, I ended up having a negative reaction after the final full dosage treatment. I had a bad lingering migraine and high pulse rate for the rest of the day and night. I guess my body didn’t agree with the full dosage. I’ve never had an adverse reaction like that after these particular treatments. I don’t hold them responsible at all for my adverse reactions, it just wasn’t for me, but it’s the honest truth. Who knows? It may do wonders for many others. That just wasn’t my experience. For some reason, after my second wellness treatment, a particular provider put a band-aide on my stomach which wasn’t necessary. The band-aide material didn’t seem to agree with my sensitive skin type and perhaps caused skin irritation. I had a scar on my skin shaped like this band-aide that the provider put on me and the surrounding area had broken out too. I showed her too. This has never happened to me with any other kind of band-aide, whatever material or brand they use. I’m not certain. When I brought it to the provider’s attention, she said, "Oh, that happens to me too". Also, after I stated I didn’t want a band-aide this time around, the provider still nonchalantly offered me a band-aide after the treatment was completed 🤷🏾‍♀️🤔, which I immediately declined, mentally side eyeing her, and rolling my eyes 👀 for even going there. I felt like she completely dismissed my concern. I attempted to remove the abrasive band-aide adhesive/film which may have caused even more of a breakout. That adhesive wasn’t coming off even when I exfoliated the area well while bathing. I’m not sure. Perhaps I had an allergic reaction to whatever band-aide brand they use since I have very sensitive skin which is not their fault. If they don’t, they should use a hypoallergenic band-aide brand for clients with sensitive skin or for all clients instead of suggesting or indicating that my adverse reaction was the norm. Like these things generally happen. That’s how I received it. This type of treatment didn’t require a band-aide unless it’s absolutely necessary, in my opinion. The instrument that the provider used for each treatment was tiny in size. Why on earth would anyone need a band-aide if it’s not necessary, right? The band-aide wasn’t going to relieve any of the pain that I felt. It happened and lingered on and on, til the break of dawn, for way too long. It really could’ve and should’ve been a less painful or painless experience, but instead it felt like an extremely sharp and painful sensation. I’m not dealing with that specific provider anymore and may not ever go back for other services that I received before, regularly. Perhaps the provider could’ve used a better technique so that the treatment wouldn’t have been so painful and when I had already stated that I didn’t want a band-aide, Why bother offering me one after the fact? I may have been better off just giving myself the wellness treatment, but I assumed the provider’s technique would lessen the painfully sharp sensation like it did for previous treatments. Hopefully, this sheds some light on some necessary changes/improvements for your spa, customer/client care relations. High Quality customer client care should be one of your top priorities if its not. Most definitely appreciated the military/veteran discounts. I always do. But digress, and wish you all the best in your future business endeavors. 🇺🇸Love, Light, Peace, Community Respect, Care, Service, Kindness No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

I love getting to spend time at Rest! They are always kind and professional no matter what treatment I get! I do wish the website worked a bit smoother sometimes but at this point, I got it figured out and will keep going as much as my wallet will let me!

I've been pretty stressed out lately and needed a treat. After a bit of thinking about what I wanted to do to chill my jets, I decided to go and get a spa facial. I usually go to the Texas College of Cosmetology because I'm all about helping people learn and hone their craft, but this time, I wanted to be utterly spoiled and I remembered seeing my friend posting about this place being open on her Facebook. I decided to book an appointment with Laci Sherrod and waited for Saturday morning to arrive with the giddiness of a bunch of kittens whose crazy cat lady is supposed to show up with a new flavor of tuna. So, Saturday rolled around, and it was super rainy and gloomy. It's not the kind of weather one wants for a spa day. However, when I rolled up to the spa, I was welcomed by the most architecturally interesting place I've seen in a while. The building was exquisite, and the grounds were well-maintained and excellently landscaped. When I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with a crisp, clean scent, clean lines, and a friendly welcome from the receptionist, who greeted me by name (even though I'd never been to Rest before). She then handed me my paperwork and offered me some water while I waited. After I had turned in my paperwork, Laci came out, greeted me, and took me back to her room, where we discussed my skin, what I wanted from this facial and some of the other services offered at the spa. She wasn't pushy, a fantastic thing these days, but she did try to upsell me. After all that, she had me get ready for the facial and hop up on the bed...which, by the way, is heated and feels very good. She then proceeded with the facial and occasionally filled me in on what she was doing or gave tips on at-home care to keep my skin happy and healthy. It was one of the top 5 best facials I've ever had. Overall...the staff and facility are lovely, and the facials are to die for. I would highly recommend the Rest Spa facial. 🤘

This is what Abilene has been needing for a very long time. Float tanks, infrared sauna, O-Zone therapy ($125) and massages! All natural, no extra or added chemicals. Great gift idea for all! Very impressive!

Giving 3 because Crystal was so nice. I'm a beast cancer survivor and am in pain because lymphedema, I heard great things about this place so I call to make an appointment, manual lymphedema drainage message is what I requested, next day appointment, GREAT! I was so excited because I was gonna get some pain relief from my pain, that didn't happen. Whoever made my appointment had absolutely no clue, the appointment was set with Crystal who doesn't specialize in what I needed, so I left still in pain which is so frustrating! So before you finalize any appointment make sure you spell out and maybe give definition of what's needed, because manual lymphedema drainage wasn't understood.
