This Korean fried chicken restaurant absolutely exceeded my expectations. The chicken was perfectly fried—ultra crispy on the outside while incredibly juicy and tender on the inside. You can tell the oil is fresh and the technique is spot-on, because the coating is light, crunchy, and never greasy. The flavors are where this place truly shines. Whether it’s the classic soy garlic, sweet and spicy, or the bold gochujang-based sauce, every bite is packed with deep, well-balanced flavor. The sauces cling beautifully to the chicken without overpowering it, and the heat level is just right. Portion sizes are generous, the sides complement the chicken well, and everything comes out hot and fresh. The service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. If you’re a fan of fried chicken—or even if you think you’ve had it all—this place is a must-visit. Easily one of the best Korean fried chicken spots around. Highly recommended!

There’s a new Korean style chicken place in Whittier location! It’s a franchise but it tastes as good as the other locations! People order mostly take out which is quite convenient! Price is really reasonable for what you’re getting! My favorite is soy gangjung and yangyeom!

I’m so happy that a Korean-style chicken place opened in our neighborhood! The food was absolutely amazing — we ordered the Haek Buldak, Original & Soy Gangjung, and Yangnyeom chicken, and everything was delicious. The waiting time was reasonable, and I was really impressed with how clean and open the kitchen was. You can tell they care about quality. Highly recommend!

The Absolute BEST Korean Fried Chicken in Town! I finally tried Chicko Chicken, and let me tell you, it instantly shot to the top of my favorite fried chicken spots! If you’re looking for a consistently excellent experience from start to finish, this is it. First off, the store is spotlessly clean, creating a great, welcoming environment. The service was incredibly nice—the staff was friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about the customer experience. Even better, the food prep was super fast! We barely waited before our order was hot and ready. But the real magic is the chicken. It’s crispy, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly juicy. I tried three different flavors, and honestly, they were all outstanding: Original: The benchmark of classic Korean fried chicken. It’s light, crunchy, and lets the quality of the meat shine through. A perfect foundation. Soy Gangjung: This was phenomenal. The glaze is the perfect balance of sweet and savory, hitting that umami spot without being overly sticky or heavy. A must-order if you like a sauced chicken! Cheese Snow: Pure, savory comfort food. The powdery coating is addictive—it’s salty, cheesy, and delivers a unique, satisfying flavor that’s unlike any other cheese chicken I've had. Chicko Chicken absolutely nails the trifecta: great atmosphere, wonderful service, and, most of all, phenomenal chicken. Highly, highly recommend! Go get your fix!

I stopped by on a whim because I was craving chicken, and I’m so glad I did — this place turned out to be an absolute gem! It’s Korean-style fried chicken, incredibly delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. I was more than satisfied. The chicken is amazing on its own, but it’s also perfect over rice with side dishes — seriously so good. This is definitely the kind of spot you’ll find yourself coming back to whenever you’re craving something comforting and tasty. Once you try it, it’s hard not to return. Overall, a very satisfying experience. I really hope they open more locations!

Giving this location a 1 star was generous. The "chicken" was very dry. I’m not sure it was even chicken it tasted like cat. Also don’t get the ranch it has a bunch of mold in it. Throw up looks more appealing to eat. Save yourself some time and a buck and don’t eat here.
