⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We came in around 3 PM and saw they had Happy Hour, but didn’t ask for details. Our total for two was about $100 The sushi was really good, and the rice was excellent. I especially liked the spicy tuna rolls, nice portion size. The coconut shrimp soup was also great. We also ordered lemongrass tea, it was real lemongrass in a tea bag, nothing else added, just pure lemongrass in a teapot, which I appreciated. The only downside was the calamari rings, they were a bit tough, probably overcooked. They also gave us really nice takeout containers for leftovers, which was a nice touch. Overall, good experience. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Free parking
A Hidden Gem for Thai Lunch Lovers – Joy Asian Noodle Bar If you’re looking for one of the best-kept lunch secrets in town, Joy Asian Noodle Bar is it. Though they also serve sushi, the lunch specials are the real standout — consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I always start with the Thai pork and chicken dumplings, which are perfectly steamed and packed with savory goodness. They pair beautifully with the soy dipping sauce and make for a satisfying appetizer. The tom yum shrimp soup, however, might just steal the show — bold, aromatic, and loaded with shrimp and veggies, it’s a comforting bowl that warms you from the inside out. The lunch bento specials are where Joy really shines. The Harvest Chicken Curry comes with tender chicken and hearty vegetables simmered in a fragrant curry sauce, accompanied by two crisp spring rolls, a fresh side salad, and fluffy jasmine rice — a perfect midday feast. I also tried the Korean Beef with Vegetables, which was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, with a slight sweetness balanced by savory sesame and soy. Beyond the food, the service is consistently warm and attentive, making every visit a pleasant one. It’s a welcoming place that never disappoints, and it’s clear the staff take pride in both the food and the customer experience.
My Fiancé and I were driving through Lake Worth, FL and this restaurant caught her eye. We decided to take a chance and eat there. All that I can say is THIS is definitely a chance worth having!!! Awesome food, great ambiance, and friendly and courteous staff! The Owner, Mr. Jay, greeted us and made us feel welcome! Highly impressed and WONDERFUL restaurant. We will definitely be back for more!!!
this spot was an unexpected gem. the staff was warm and attentive, and the service ran seamlessly. music wasn't loud. lights not too bright, nor dark. we ordered the elderberry lemongrass drink, which was light and refreshing as promised, and the barren classic beer, which was straightforward and enjoyable. the jalapeño pork and vegetable dumplings had a subtle heat from fresh diced jalapeño, though the flavor overall was fairly average. the thai fritters stood out as a highlight, perfectly crisp with well-seasoned vegetables. the spicy turkey meatballs weren’t particularly spicy but offered a pleasant, slightly sweet flavor. one of the meatballs was oddly dry though. the singapore noodles also lacked heat (although the menu stated spicy), so i added hot sauce to bring some balance. dessert options were limited. i went with the crepe cake. while enjoyable, it did taste like it might have been pre-made. what impressed me most was the unique variety on the menu, offering dishes not commonly found elsewhere. a great place to explore new flavors.. just be sure to ask for the hot sauce if you are expecting some heat.
This was my neighborhood walking distance Asian bistro for 15 years. I love the owner staff is friendly and attentive and the food is fresh and excellent. Atmosphere is very cool Asian bistro with traditional elements. Great lunch or dinner spot; highly recommended. Although I moved out of the neighborhood I still remember some of my best times in this restaurant and will definitely go there if I'm ever on that part of town again. They used to sell an excellent assortment of tees at the pay counter in tins to take home. I always left with a fresh tin of tea multiple flavors available. Definitely go.
Interesting selection of various Asian dishes. The three of us enjoyed our choices. I wanted something different than my typical local Thai and chose Lemongrass coconut sauce- delicious but didn't taste much different than banana curry. My friend enjoyed her Yam noodles.
I was feeling under the weather and wanted soup, so I found Joy's "Comfort Bowl". It definitely was comforting as the staff was to me. I ordered to-go, so I didnt stay long, but everyone was very nice, polite, and attentive. The dining space seemed a bit small, but they also had outdoor seating. The soup was amazingly delicious and I have leftovers to go through another experience. I'm looking forward to returning when I'm feeling better to try their sushi!
