Pocha has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 243 reviews on Google
I was so surprised that I got Korean food this authentic at Purdue. I grew up with Korean friends and this is THE MOST AUTHENTIC Korean food I’ve eaten in the area. I had the Haemel Sundubu Jjigae (seafood stew) and it was brilliant. Sides were nice too even though they were a little small. Rice portion was good for the soup too. Service was also awesome the person at the register helped me get my things to my table :). I will be coming back. 감사합니다
Nice place to eat a Korean food. It is my first time here and I order the Bulgogi beef bibimbap with hot stone bowl. It was very delicious. Recommend for people who want Korean food.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Amazing food. Unique Korean dishes, versatile menu, diverse flavors, good presentation, and tasty sodas! Service was phenomenal, the young lady and young man helped us, recommended their favorites, and served well. We had no complaints! Highly recommend
Absolutely amazing! Po-cha Korean Grill & Soju totally blew me away. The vibe is super modern and cozy with a clean layout, comfy seating, and great lighting. I tried the spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) and WOW 🌶 — they pack a kick! If you’re spice-sensitive, proceed with caution 😝 but if you like bold flavor, this is heaven. We also got the bulgogi and spicy pork & squid, and everything was 🔥 hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Bonus points for the little side dishes (banchan) and lettuce wraps — perfect for building your own bites. Also loved the Milkis and Coca-Cola Star Wars cans — fun little touches. Highly recommend if you’re craving legit Korean food with a modern twist. I’ll be back for the BBQ sets and bibimbap next time!
Absolutely phenomenal food. The soft tofu soup tasted great with just the right amount of spice. Left me absolutely stuffed. The best Korean restaurant near campus
The kimchi pancakes were served in a bamboo basket, arriving crispy on the edges with a soft, chewy center. Packed with tangy kimchi and green onions, they offered a satisfying savory bite, though a slightly stronger kimchi tang would have elevated the dish further. The spicy pork with squid, also visible in the set, was a flavorful addition. The pork was tender, the squid added a nice chew, and the spicy sauce tied it together, though the spice was more of a gentle warmth than a fiery heat. The meal came with small sides like kimchi, which was crisp and tangy, and seasoned dried squid strips that brought a delightful umami crunch. A small dish of gochujang sauce on the side added a spicy-sweet depth to the meal, perfect for dipping or mixing. The atmosphere at Pocha was cozy and welcoming, with wooden tables and a casual vibe that made it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The service was attentive and friendly, ensuring everything arrived promptly. The variety and quality of the dishes felt like a great value for the price. Overall, Pocha delivers a solid Korean dining experience with fresh, flavorful dishes that hit the mark. I’d rate it a 4 out of 5—a great choice for Korean comfort food, and I’d happily return to try more!
Brand new, very nice interior design and good food. We had the pork belly bento - which has all the fixings for a good lettuce wrap (kimchi, sauce (though it doesn't taste like the samjang I'm familiar with), rice, fish cake. Bibimbap had all the usual ingredients - highly recommend adding on the beef to mix in - it's well marinated and tasty. Ordering the hot stone bowl version gives you rice crisped to perfection. Not a huge menu, but lots of good options if you like Korean BBQ, pajeon (savory pancake), and jjigae (spicy stew). Do note that despite the upscale setting, you order at the counter and bus your own trays. Looks to be the same owner as Sakanaya, which now has a second location next door.
