Ten Shabu

We used to go here all the time and loved the experience but it has gone downhill. They were out of the main sauces (and didn’t mention until after we ordered), the water tasted like it came from the toilet, the service was terrible and the bathroom should be reported for the condition it was in. Not to mention, myself and the people I was with have been sick to our stomachs all day after eating there yesterday. Do not go here.

Loved this place when I found out about it years and years ago. Food quality seems to have gone down since my last visit. Rice was hard, soda didnt taste right, veggies weren't too great, water with no ice, broth wasn't as flavorful as before, servers seemed ehh when I went. Brisket was ehh, the beef Toro was good though.

This is the first Shabu place I have enjoyed. The service os good and the food is even better. the all you can eat is very worth it. specifics I love the curry broth with whatever spice level I feel like and then getting a ton of veggies and the wagyu or premium beef.

This is definitely a good place for AYCE Japanese shabu shabu. I would give it 80-85 out of 100. However, here are three things I need to say. Hopefully, the owner of the restaurant will see and can make improvements. 1. There were sand in clams! Lots of sand so that we didn’t order any clams after the first round. 2. Not sure if the staff misunderstood or the meat was mislabeled in the kitchen? They told us that meat in photo #1 was "premium beef" and in photo #2 was "Wagyu". That doesn’t make sense at all! Are you serious?? 3. The calamari tasted okay but it had a thin but extremely strong film on the surface… see the 3rd picture? That was funny…

Pretty solid Shabu shop with options for AYCE or a la carte. We tend to go with a large combo and share for an extra $12. Tried the Tom yum myself and GF went with the usual miso. Meats were premium angus, short rib and prime rib eye. Each added $1-3 per to the price of the combo and the broths were an extra $2 each. All in all a great meal for a cool night. Love the fact they have condiments and Chile within reach and service was very good on this night.

First time eating Shabu and I didn't know how to order. The server was really helpful. Food was great. Overall amazing experience.
