Rice Bar Marketplace was an absolute 10 out of 10 experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and homey, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. The staff were respectful and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. One of the best parts is that everything is custom-made exactly how you want it. Being able to build your own bowl makes the meal feel fresh and personal, and the portions are incredibly filling. Every ingredient tasted fresh and well-prepared. The dumplings were definitely handmade, and you could taste the difference. They were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care — not just something pulled from a freezer. Overall, the food was super good, super filling, and paired with excellent service and a cozy environment. I would absolutely go back again!

This is a fun and customizable spot where you can design your own bibimbap or choose from their signature menu. I loved being able to pick exactly what I wanted in my bowl. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the portions are quite generous. My bowl included: Base & Protein: A hearty mix with tender beef. Toppings: Fresh sprouts, cucumber, carrots, and greens. The Highlight: A perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg drizzled with savory sauce. Drink: Paired it with a refreshing UCC Melon Creamy Soda for a nice sweet finish. The flavors come together really well, making it a quick and satisfying meal. It’s a great choice whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout in DC!

I work near here and go to rice bar often! It’s a great spot for lunch. If you like a good bulgogi bowl to go, then I’d recommend you coming here. During lunch hours it’s super busy so be prepared for a crowd and customers who are on a lunch time limit. The employees are nice, but they aren’t through the roof nice, and I can’t blame them with how busy they are. The food is good, but not amazing which is why I can’t give it a 5.

"Chipotle" style Korean BiBimbap and noodle soup. Love the fast casual type of customization for this famous Korean dish. You can choose the pre made classic combinations offered or create your own unique liking. Unfortunately, for me, the ingredients tasted bland and lacking flavor. The concept is there tho.

We have been eating burgers, pizzas, bagels and tortillas. Walking around the museums and sites made everyone hungry and wanting rice and noodles. We found Rice Bar. Korean design yourself or just pick from their signature menu. The boys loved it so much. The right balance of heat, sweet and savoury. Absolutely loved it.

Thought it was great, nice quick nourishing meal, flavorful and filling. Got the spicy chicken bibimbap bowl with black rice, husband got bulgogi bibimbap (beef) with ramen noodles. Mine had a nice kick to it, husbands was more mild

When visiting the city, we always stop by for lunch at this wonderful establishment. You can assemble your own bowl or choose a bowl or noodles, which is already listed on the menu. All products are fresh, the workers are friendly and very fast. It is always clean, cool, there is a small toilet.
