Hansang Korean Restaurant

First time here while traveling in Virginia. Located at 1209 Baker Rd, Unit 202, Virginia Beach, Virginia, this small Korean restaurant packs a lot of punch. All the people behind the counter greeted us as we walked inside and were immediately taken to a booth by a very nice young lady. She told us how we would electronically order our food. So we went over the menu and placed an order for Bulgogi and Korean BBQ Ribs. Plus a side of veggies, kimchi and some other side. The food came out individually prepared with tons of steam indicating how hot they were. Each bite was absolutely amazing and delicious. What a jewel for the city of Virginia Beach. Thanks Hansang for an incredible eating experience. For anyone who reads this, you won’t be disappointed about stopping and eating in this great little restaurant.

You wanna talk about a hidden gem! This place is beyond delicious. The vibes are very amazing here as well as the service. The food is like being punched in the face with flavor. The sweet and spicey dumplins were literally the best dumplings ive ever had. I will gladly drive out from Suffolk more often just to come back here!

This was my second time here and this time, I went for a quick dinner with a friend. I definitely enjoyed my samgyupsal! The kimchi was just right for me, who doesn't like anything too spicy. 😊 Looking forward to trying other dishes!

First time at this restaurant and I can say the customer service is top tier! The food was amazing! If your in the virginia beach area go visit you will not be disappointed. Will definitely be back soon! Thank you for the amazing first time visit!

OMG, I'm so happy to write a review for this restaurant 😊!!! This was my first time eating here, and they totally nailed it 😋😊👍. I got the spicy pork lunch special 😋. It was not only delicious but also fresh and hot when I got it 💯😋. The restaurant was clean, and the staff kept the tables clean 💯😊👍. The people here are so friendly, and the atmosphere was so welcoming. While I was burning my mouth trying to quickly eat my delicious food, the smell of their Hotpot hit me, and I had to fight the urge to order that too 😂. I wish I had better pictures of what I ordered, but for once, I couldn't stop eating to take a picture. ALLLLLLL thumbs up from me 😊😍. I have a new favorite restaurant. You know its good when the food is steaming hot and you keep burning your mouth but you still try to eat it ! 😂

I’ve passed this place for months and finally stopped in with my cousin today. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff was amazing, and the food came out fast. We were seated around 11:30, ordered from the tablet, and were finished by 12. Nothing but great things to say—definitely going back. If you haven’t been, check this place out.

The restaurant has a very nice interior. Great and inviting ambiance, very conducive to conversations. The service was quick. I ordered their bulgogi lunch specials, which was certainly very filling. It came with two beef dumplings (I ate them before taking the photo), house salad, side dishes (beansprouts & stir fried fish cake), steamed rice, and bulgogi. The bulgogi was good but a bit too salty. It'd have been perfect if the bulgogi had been less salty. However, the food tastes good overall! The lunch specials were $15/$16, so not bad price-wise. The only slightly unusual thing is that they charge if you order extra banchan (side dishes). Usually, banchan is free even for refills in most Korean restaurants.
