The food was incredible and the service was even better! The chili chicken was definitely my favorite. While the Mandoo was good, and a strong vegetarian option it wasn't my favorite simply due to how incredible the chili chicken was. The service was even better though! Table was cleaned for me, and multiple times the employee and owner came and checked on me to make sure everything was good. They even offered more veggies! Don't sleep on this gem! Great food and reasonable prices.

If you’re ever in the area, you need to check this out. The Kalbi is amazing. We also had the garlic shrimp and sweet chili chicken something. I forgot the name because I ate it so fast it was so good. The interior may fool you as it does not look like a typical Korean restaurant. But know that it was very clean and the staff was so friendly.

Didn't snap a pick, but there are plenty of them already. The 🌶️ chicken is pretty bomb. Not really that spicy, which is perfectly fine. Has a kick without overpowering other flavors. What surprised me was their kimchi has a ton of garlic flavor and after that first bite, I just couldn't stop and killed it off. Extremely good kimchi. The corn salad is a nice little side quest. Interesting flavor with a lot of black pepper. I'm gonna have to try some other things here now and definitely the mandu.

Korean food is swiftly becoming one of the new hip trending cuisines, but let’s be honest it is not always the most approachable or easiest type of food. The menus can be mysterious, the heat levels daunting, and the prices eye watering, or the other way around… maybe it’s the heat levels that are eye watering and the prices that are daunting. It’s the kind of thing where you’re not sure what to order and you feel awkward and confused where perhaps you realize you were not one of the trending crowd. Young’s kitchen was the antithesis of that. The proprietor extremely warm and welcoming, the prices reasonable and the menu simple and straightforward. It was the first time at a Korean restaurant I have ever felt that level of comfort and welcome. The spicy chicken was wonderful a little like a sweet and sour dish, but with the depth and complexity. The slight crunch and the savory soft center was captivating. The kind of thing that you could easily eat several times a week without getting tired of it. In recent times I have been disappointed in almost every chicken dish I have tried. The meat has been bland and dry, the textures unpleasant. This was completely different. It was succulent and savory. I loved the addition of the corn salad and the pickled veggies. I loved the proprietor engaged with us easily and make sure we had everything we needed. The decor is simple to the point of being stark, but it is also absolutely clean and well cared for. I can do without the complication of decor if in exchange I get kindness, welcome, and good food. Young‘s kitchen immediately goes on the list of places where I will feel safe and cared for, where I will feel welcome and expectant. This is the diversity of the American dream. The real sharing of friendliness, comfort, and sustenance. A place where you recognize kindness and quality a place where you can feel at home in a different land.

Loved this place! My favorite one is their Kalbi and Spicy Pork combination - both meats were grilled to perfection (slightly burnt, but in a good way), and the marinades were not too salty nor too spicy, sooo flavorful and delicious! I also recommended their Korean Chili Chicken - very crispy, and went well with the sweet chili sauce. Definitely worth a try! All the meals come with corn salad + either picked veggies or kimchi. The picked veggies really helped relieve the greasiness and richness of the main courses, and they’re also perfect for refreshing the palate after a heavy meal. I felt the corn salad was a little bit too sweet though…but it’s just my opinion :p The staff (owner?) is a super friendly and hard-working lady. She always gave a welcoming greetings to the customers, explained the menu clearly, and served/treated you very kindly. (When seeing me almost finish all the pickled veggies before finishing up the main course, she proactively asked me if I want more and then gave me another plate of pickled veggies for free! So nice!) Also, even though she’s busy going in and out most of the time, but she never rushed you making orders or paying bills. Another thing I noticed is: the ‘suggested tip’ in this restaurant is 10%/15%/18%, unlike most restaurants asking for 18%/20%/25% or even higher. And the staff will just turn her head back when you’re about to enter the tip amount, instead of staring at you, waiting for you to make decision, giving you unnecessary psychological stress. (It’s not about whether you can afford it or not. It’s more about the feeling/perception.) All these small things make me like this place more 🙂 Overall I had a great experience here, and I’ll definitely come back to try other items 😋 Hope their business will get better and better!

Young's Kitchen is one of the best places to eat. I really like the small shop, its cute aesthetic, and the delicious dishes-especially the chili chicken. The cook, Diego, is also a very good chef.
