Maru Sushi & Korean cuisine

Excellent sushi! The service amazing, the atmosphere was so pleasant, but the food takes the cake! Best sushi I have had in sooo long! If you want some authentic fresh and delicious sushi, trust, this place is so worth it! I almost don’t want to praise too much to keep this place hidden, but they deserve the review, cuz sheesh that was some delicious sushi 😍

Every time my wife and I come here, we enjoy a delicious meal and great service. I’m not sure where the bad reviews for this place are coming from. Every time I’m here dude with the pony tail is smiling and very kind. I will be a regular patron of this restaurant. With most sushi restaurants shrink-flating their rolls, this place always hooks it up and I hope they never change that. Top notch fresh delicious sushi and their other food is great as well!

A New Mongolian BBQ Restaurant Place. Food was delicious and fresh, prices very convenient. 100% recommended.

Nice place to go for a lunch or quick bite. Service was quick & friendly, and the portions were actually the perfect sizing. Chef's Sushi platter had some good looking cuts, and the salmon had a nice fatty texture which was pleasing. Roll was a good size. Too much imitation crab on the menu's rolls for my preferences. I stuck with the sashimi and found an albacore-based roll that was great. But my options were very limited as I dislike imitation crab meat. There are multiple TV screens and some fun lounge remixes of pop music. That was cute.

The sushi rolls were the star, and my daughter ordered one that has to be the most delicious sushi I have ever had. I wouldn't go for the ramen though. The meat was very tough, but still, nice flavor and great vegetables. A little much on the portion size, but you certainly get a lot for what you pay for. The mussels were great, and I don't eat mussels because I know what they are. 😉 The staff was very attentive and warmly greeted us and bid us farewell. We all agreed, and we will be coming again.

Wash your menus at least once, they are sticky. The owner, a man with a ponytail, clearly had an issue with me when I asked to use his restroom (I wasted about $80 here total before and work in the same complex). I had no idea this was an affront to his ego and to everything sacred and holy; he decided to begin to make a mockery of me in front of the entire restaurant staff and customers. Then, when I told him I was leaving him a one star review, he dashed out to follow me out. I had to tell him to stay back like a dog since I was already out of his property. Imagine if you DON'T know anyone here and how they will treat you. Spend your $80 on McDonald's Big Macs instead of Maru Sushi; avoid like the plague.

Finally a good Korean food in IE! I didn’t expect to find a K-food in sushi place. But overall, was beyond my expectations. I had no chance to pix a fresh oysters, which is my favorite, so~~~ fresh and tasty. If you like a cilantro, try Ichiban!
