Riviera Health Spa (Torrance)

Riviera Health Spa is my favorite place in town! The spa is super clean and spacious, with multiple sauna rooms to relax in. I love that it’s co-ed in the upstairs area, so you can enjoy time with friends while wearing their comfortable spa shirts and pants. The Korean restaurant on the 2nd floor is a huge bonus—my go-to is the cold noodle, which is always so refreshing after the sauna. The 1st floor is separated for men and women, and I really enjoy going back and forth between the hot tub and cold tub—it feels amazing and so rejuvenating. This place is perfect for a relaxing day, and I always look forward to coming back!

the warm and hot pools were slightly less hot than i would have liked, but were fine. the cold was good. dry sauna is the real winner here (quite hot). there was a man pleasuring himself in the steam room, as seen as a silhouette behind the glass. staff were apologetic and stated he would be banned. the co ed jimjilbang was excellent. very relaxing with a heated floor. it was a good sauna.

Wow this place is great. Everything was very clean, and the staff and visitors were all very nice. The food upstairs is also very good. I ordered the chicken bowl and it was excellent. 10/10, I cant wait to go back.

Overall it was very relaxing. I wasn’t a fan of the spa cloths - they looked like old uniforms and you can’t wear shoes but you can wear socks. Wet spa folks may hound you for their 20% tip. Other than that it’s a very relaxing time. Well te the dry massage next ❤️❤️

Overpriced and Disappointing Experience. 2 stars are only because the scrubber was friendly although was rushing me 10 minutes before my massage time. The place was overpriced and clearly run down, with trash piled up in multiple areas. The staff was not friendly, which made the experience even less enjoyable. It doesn’t come close to the quality or atmosphere of the Korean spas in Koreatown. That said, the restaurant was actually good, which was the one bright spot. Surprisingly, the place was packed for a Monday night—but the crowd didn’t make up for the overall condition and service.

This spa has become my go-to place. I’ve tried both the scrubs and massages, and each visit has been consistently amazing — relaxing, professional, and thoughtful. The entire place is always clean, which makes it easy to fully unwind. The staff are warm, kind, and truly make you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. I always leave feeling refreshed and taken care of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, relaxing spa experience!

I don't really have time to write reviews and when I do, it's for a stellar review or not at all but in this case after expressing my concern and being completely dismissed I felt the need to write this review. I have been driving 2 hours each way for the past few months to have a self care experience here at Riviera. Last night I had a body scrub in the wet room with Michelle (short orange hair)- it was actually really good. UNTIL....I was at my locker getting dressed to go upstairs for my massage and I turn around to see Michelle standing there- demanding her tip- WHILE I was getting dressed! I couldn't believe it! I was so relaxed ready for my massage and she just ruined the experience with that stressful, ugly encounter. I am one of those people who enjoys tipping and was planning to do so at the end of all my treatments. And you know what? I still tipped her because I don't have that kind of heart but when I expressed my concern to the front desk they did not care AT ALL. So I thought maybe if I write a review, someone will care. I was enjoying coming here and I spend good money when I do- with all the treatments- food- 2 hrs gas driving- not a $30 day pass. But I can't support a business that does not value me as a customer.
