Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken - Thousand Oaks

I'm not usually in the part Los Angeles, I found it on maps months ago. Today the the opportunity I took to check it out. The menu is pretty good if you like chicken or want something veggie style. No beef here! I tried the chicken and grits, and the Texas Pete chicken sandwich. Both were very good, it was all done right. I almost got the Nashville Hot sandwich but because I probably won't be running back up this way anytime soon, I went for the Texas Pete. Being at a somewhat dead retail center in a Saturday morning, this place was constantly busy. Either with people eating here, walk up, or internet orders. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I have been trying to get here for so long and it had not worked with my schedule. …Until today. WOW! I was super excited to try this and now that I have, I’ll be back. Who can forget the beauty of a biscuit. Like the super kind owner, Bill, said, everyone knows pizza. People do not think as much about biscuits. Go get to know biscuits! You won’t regret it. Sweet and spicy. Crunchy and soft. Proteins and carbs. Butter and honey. Perfection. Create any variation of sandwiches to your liking. Excellent sides. Seriously. Go. This is fantastic and the crew is fantastic.

OMGEEZY, hands down the best breakfast sandwiches ever! The biscuits are huge, fluffy, melt in your mouth goodness with so many delicious options to make an excellent sandwich. They have famous chicken biscuit sandwiches as well and the sides are original and delectable. Add on the excellent vibe, customer service and extremely fair prices and you have a WINNER! We need more RISE biscuits around Los Angeles!! This place is the bomb!!!

I was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich this morning and I googled rise. Southern biscuits came up, I went in and was pleasantly surprised with a small line in front of me that was moving efficiently. You go in and you place your order on a tablet and you wait for the order to come up. You watch your order being prepared and it all happens quickly and seamlessly. The inside is clean and well run by a staff of two. I ordered the cheddar biscuit scrambled egg, cheddar cheese biscuit, the blueberry sausage biscuit and the ham cheese and fried egg biscuit. All were delicious and I will be back soon.

Came in 5 minutes after closing and the gentleman closing up the front brought us (my lady and I) in to see what biscuits they had left over and we got the blueberry and cheddar cheese. These are the best biscuits to have ever graced my face. Thank you. Life changing was an understatement.

This bacon, egg, and cheese combo on a blueberry muffin with hash browns is absolutely delicious! The blueberries melt in your mouth, and the muffin is both tasty and soft.

Okay, I am from the south, and have been searching for a good southern biscuit that isn’t fast food. I had the southern biscuit bacon, egg, and American cheese with a regular butter biscuit, and it was delish. Fluffy biscuit, delicate and authentic flavor. The sweet tea was just that— very sweet! But , that’s how they do it in the south. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the order came out super fast. I love the price! It’s cheaper than some fast food restaurants!
