Bonchon Tempe - ASU

Best Bonchon and best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. I have had Bonchon, CM Chicken, and more in other states/locations. This was the best, we became food pregnant. We ordered mixed soy chicken and yangmyeong with a side of radish. And with a side of ranch… sooo good. Whoever was working March 15th from ~5-7pm deserves a raise. Triple their salary please. Only downside is that it was really busy and there wasn’t much/any seating.

Let me tell you about the Korean tacos..oh my god, they were nothing short of divine! Each bite was a burst of flavor that transported me to a happy place.. The portion sizes were incredibly generous; I swear they could feed a small village! It’s the kind of dish that leaves you dreaming about your next visit long after the meal is over. And don’t even get me started on the street corn! It was rich in flavors, combining the sweet, and spicy elements that made it utterly irresistible. Perfectly grilled and topped with all the right ingredients, it was a side dish that outshone many main courses I've had elsewhere. A big shoutout to Sabrina for the exceptional service, her recommendations truly elevated our meal. She was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience to the fullest. Speaking of experiences, the vibe of the place is fantastic. It’s the kind of restaurant where laughter and conversation fill the air, making it feel alive and vibrant. Plus, it’s conveniently located with plenty of parking options, both in lots and on the street. Just a heads-up though; while there’s ample parking, many streets in the area are currently under construction, which can lead to some traffic snags. But trust me, the food and service are well worth navigating through a little bit of congestion. If you’re in the mood for incredible Korean food that tantalizes your taste buds and fills your soul, make sure to check this place out! You won't regret it!

I want to start by saying me and my friend came in and ordered some wings and strips - they came out a little over 30 minutes later because they presumably forgot the order. Very frustrating. That being said, i can't lie, when the food did come out it was pretty good. It has a unique crunch to it that I wasn't expecting! I don't know what exactly makes this korean other than that there is soy sauce and garlic on the sauce I got, but it was still good! Place is clean and the food is good and I will try it again. I came in today and was greeted right away. The cashier was super sweet. I’ve never tried Bonchon before so she let me take my time to look at the menu and even gave me recommendations to try. I got the drumsticks and they were amazing. I will be coming here again! 🙂

Ordered a takeout, only to find a burnt piece when I’m half way in the food. It’s incredible that whoever packaged the food thought it was okay to include burnt food and not say anything.

I went this thursday. First of all, the food was incredible….. I understand the prices due to the fact that the cuisine is very fulfilling and tasty. The worker was a sweet heart- I am visiting from Australia and she really made a highlight of my Tempe visit, she suggested some things on the menu- I had the bibimpap, 6 wings, and a corn dog. She even told me some good spots to visit in Tempe/ Arizona. 10/10 costumer service. If I lived here I would visit every bloody day!

Went in on a Thursday at 4:45. I was the only person and ordered a small Korean street corn. After 10 min I was told they are starting my order because they’re backed up. Employees were sitting around on their phones when I showed up. I have no idea how they were so backed up with orders when I was the only person there. Food was just ok.
