If you’re craving authentic Korean cuisine in Tampa, Sarione delivers a warm, home-style experience that feels like a stroll into a family-run eatery straight from the streets of Korea. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with simple Korean décor and a relaxed diner-style vibe that doesn’t feel pretentious but does feel genuine. 🍲 Food Quality: The menu offers a wide variety of classic Korean staples — from savory bulgogi and bibimbap to hearty seafood pancakes and traditional soups. Many diners say the flavors are authentic and satisfying, reminiscent of dishes you’d find in Korea itself. Portions are generous, which makes it great for sharing or getting full with just one entrée. 👨‍🍳 Authenticity: True Korean food lovers appreciate Sarione for staying true to tradition. It doesn’t aim to be flashy; instead, it focuses on delivering flavors that are familiar to anyone who has lived in or traveled to Korea. Many reviews praise it as one of the more authentic Korean dining spots in the Tampa area. 👋 Service & Ambience: Service is generally polite and attentive, though experiences can vary with crowd levels. The vibe is laid-back and unpretentious — better for a casual meal than a special-occasion night out. 👍 Highlights: • Great choice for traditional Korean dishes • Generous portion sizes • Friendly, helpful staff • Cozy, old-school vibe 👎 Considerations: • Not a modern or upscale atmosphere • Service can be slower when busy • A few diners have noted uneven experiences with certain dishes or preparation quality Overall: Sarione is a solid pick for anyone craving genuine Korean flavors in Tampa. It’s perfect for lunch or dinner when you want something comforting and hearty, especially if you appreciate traditional recipes over trendy spins.

Came here on a rare cold day here in Tampa and it was the best decision! If you are looking for authentic, cozy Korean food this is the spot. We ordered the tofu beef soup, the beef rice bowl, and saucy chicken wings. All of the food come in great portions and tasted so good! The service is great and the atmosphere is so cozy. They are attentive and kind! 10/10!

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly delicious either. I had better options. The seafood pancake wasn't crispy enough, but the portion was huge. The sauce for the beef short ribs was too sweet, completely masking the delicious beef flavor. The tofu soup was good, and the stone pot rice was also okay.

Everyone should be very careful when paying at this restaurant. This is probably not the first time they have overcharged customers for tips. Today we had three adults, one 6 year old child, and one 1 year old baby. It was very clear that we did not exceed a party of six, yet an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill without any prior notice. What was even more confusing was that the signature section still suggested adding a tip. If customers do not look carefully, they could easily tip again by mistake. In addition, there was an unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in. The restaurant felt stuffy and hot, and we were sweating throughout the entire meal. The overall dining experience was very uncomfortable. As for the food, it was either completely bland or overly salty and greasy. It was very different from the Korean food I usually have. The prices are also high. One order of LA galbi was $34.95. After adding 7.5% tax and the mandatory 18% gratuity calculated after tax, the total came to about $44.33. The problem is that for such a high price, the meat was burnt on the outside, dry inside, and extremely salty. It was truly disappointing. I honestly do not understand where all the positive reviews are coming from.

Just by walking in the restaurant I knew I was about to have a delicious dinner, a sit was full of Koreans and a few locals. The place feels almost like a reurposed house turned restaurant, which is not a bad thing as it feels homey, you won't get a the high end restaurant feeling here, you'll get the casual family member place with delicious food. Ordered the Bulgogi, pork. Beef and Chicken teriyaki. Portions were perfect for sharing.

We have been enjoying this restaurant for a number of years. The service when they aren’t very busy is decent, but when they are busy it’s not great (everyone is still friendly). We don’t go there for the service nor atmosphere, we go for the good food. My opinion one of the better Korean places in Tampa, more traditional than the newer Korean fried chicken places which have popped up over the last couple of years and the food is consistently good. They do a good job with the traditional common dishes like bulgogi seafood pancake, japchae, etc., so if you are looking more traditional, then go here. The atmosphere is something else. It’s an old home converted to a restaurant with questionable building skills. So don’t visit here for 5 star service nor if you are looking for a 5 star atmosphere. However you will always get consistently good Korean food which wins for me.

This place is very authentic as if you walked off an alley in South Korea into a family restaurant which likely would be a house like this restaurant-expect cozy not modern. The service was exceptionally polite and quick, but we were not rushed to leave. Keep in mind that some dishes do require a longer cooking time. The portions were more than adequate. The food was very good. If you want a fancy hot pot restaurant, this is not it. However, for an authentic experience, this IS it. If you have lived in South Korea, you will appreciate this place. My only (slight) disappointment was that kimbap was not available on the appetizer menu.
