Went to the Kimchi Box the other day because I wanted to try a Korean Hot Dog...Had the Potato Hot Dog filled with Mozzarella (for ya'all meatless foodies)...OMG!...Impressive Cheese Pull!! Plus, Super Crispy and Satisfying!! Also munched on the 10 piece Garlic Pepper Wings (looking for that "Crack" Chicken vibe), and the Kalbi Beef Shortribs with Rice, Salad, and Radish Kimchi...mmmhh, Delicious food; Definitely going on my "Wanna Go There Once A Month Eating Out" List!😋Bonus, the Owners are Super Sweet and Awesome!!

I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Garlic Salt chicken wings, fresh kimchi and the Bulgogi Lunch Bowl. I would say the chicken sandwich and the chicken wings were my most favorite items too eat. Especially the chicken sandwich, the chicken was juicy, thigh meat, seasoned well and fresh tasting. The pickled onions and the angel slaw with sauce was light and crunchy. Bun was toasted and good bread. The chicken was king in the sandwich. It had a nice kick of heat where you cannot label it as spicy or mild it was perfect. This chicken stayed crispy the whole time. It’s not like other chicken sandwiches where it gets soggy or soft while sitting in between the buns. I highly recommend this chicken sandwich. Not heavy but blessed with everything you crave and hope. It’s in a really cute little mom and pop shop. Good selection of drinks. If you are looking for something that hits the spot come here. At least for the chicken sandwich. The kimchi is fresh too and pairs well with the sandwich. I can’t wait to eat this again. The wings are really good but I’m sorry the sandwich is just good. 🥰 Thank you for existing.

I only got the viral potato corn dogs with the mozzarella cheese inside. Pretty tasty. A little smaller than you see in the reels. But, fun and crunchy. A nice snack to share. I'd go back and try more.

I can’t say that this was a good Korean place to go to especially when I was looking forward to Korean food. I ordered a "kimchi box" and it didn’t come with kimchi. If I wanted kimchi it was additional $2 which is no big deal but it was just the principle. And the kimchi was way overripe. It should have been thrown away weeks ago! The "kimchi box" entree was teriyaki chicken with too much sweet sauce and a little japche and green salad. If I was looking forward to a teriyaki chicken box I would have been a little happier. Husband had the chicken wings and they were good but pretty expensive for lunch in Tacoma. $23. Also, you get your own water and you have to bus your own table. I wish I would have known this before I left a 15% tip.

Pretty happy with my experience here. I recently tried this spot, and I would say the wings were probably my favorite, followed by a really good pickled radish that came with them. I thought the seating was really thoughtful, they have spaces for one person as well as groups of people. I am not normally in this area, but if I was in the area again, I would definitely go.

My Tio Franky treated me on 5/29/24 after visiting my Mommy's grave which is Mountain View cemetery. The restaurant is located at the Center Street Plaza. The restaurant is not very big. Interior is clean. Tv screen available with Korean drama show running. The service is quick and efficient. We both ordered the short ribs which comes with rice, salad and japchae $18.00. We also ordered a side of japchae noodles $9.00 plus bulgogi $3.00 and a side of kimchi $2.00. I got hot tea. My Tio got coke. The food is flavorful and delicious!! The portions are generous. I definitely plan on returning when back in this area.

We have been eagerly anticipating this restaurant to open as we have seen the "opening soon" signs for a few months. We stopped by and ordered the kimchi chicken sandwich, kalbi, and rose tteokbokki. All delicious and a very friendly staff! We look forward to coming back to try their other offerings as well.
