Nak Won Korean Restaurant

We've been coming here for many years now as large groups and small, we all love it. The atmosphere is quiet and calm and the food is exquisite. Working our way through the menu and have not been disappointed at all. This time we got the kimbob appetizer which was a great blend of umami filled beef, crunchy fresh vegetables wrapped in perfect rice. We got chicken Korean Ramen as well that I highly recommend with a full bodied broth and delicious bites of sweet charred chicken. We always go back to the beef galbi and are never disappointed with its smokey sweet char. The service is always helpful and friendly, more than willing to answer questions or accommodate something. We cannot recommend this place enough, we will keep coming back again and again.

Nak Won has a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly, which made the experience pleasant. The food was decent overall, flavors were good, but I did feel the prices were a bit high for the area and the portion sizes. It’s a nice spot to try if you’re craving Korean food, but just be aware it may not be the best value for the price.

We had a party of 12 and they were so accommodating to our group size and needs. We are Korean American and this restaurant serves authentic Korean food. The chef (& who I’m assuming is the owner) was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We when visit our brother in NC, we will definitely be coming back to this place!

This was so nice! Very authentic. A few people in our party have been to Korea and said so. I really loved the Dolset Bibimbop. Others had bulgogi and Korean fried rice. Would definitely come back again!

UPDATE: Food is still great! We have been going here for more than fours years now (my original review was from 4 years ago). This fifth star was long over due. Great food and very polite staff! And not to forget, try out the desserts as well. It will change your life.

This is my absolute favorite Korean restaurant ever! I will sadly be moving soon and this is literally the only thing I wish I could take with me. EVERY single one of their dishes is so clearly made with love and authenticity. The ambiance is always great and quiet. It’s always my favorite reward after exams. 1000/10 would recommend!

Update from the last 6 years I have been eating at Nak Won. BLUF: BEST AUTHENTIC SPICY RAMEN. been to korea, and this is the real deal. It's still the best Korean food for the area. A lot of noodle restaurants and ramen places have been popping up, and I have been leaving those places overcharged and un satisfied. I can safely say that I have never been disappointed at Nak Wons. The dumplings are my wife's and I favorite. Super crispy and great flavor profile. We each get our own order of them cause they are so good. And the ramen is unmatched around here. Don't mess around with anywhere else. After having the ramen at this place, it leaves all others tasting like trash and proving that all others are un-memorable.
