Tookies is a casual seafood spot that serves up pretty typical fare — fried shrimp, fish baskets, and other coastal staples. The portions were decent and priced reasonably for what you get. The food itself wasn’t anything remarkable, but it hit the spot if you’re just looking for a laid-back seafood meal. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience enjoyable despite a few shortcomings. My only real disappointment was the Long Island during happy hour — it tasted more like sour mix than anything else, with barely a hint of liquor. Definitely not the drink to order there.Overall, Tookies isn’t the place for a fancy night out, but it’s a solid choice if you want casual seafood and good service. I’d probably go back again for a no-frills meal or a quick drink with friends.

Service was good and fast. The inside of the restaurant was large and spread out on the second floor. The tacos were so yummy! Raw tuna, so not for everyone, but the crunch of the wonton shell along with the sauce/salsa was delicious. We also shared a dozen oysters on the half shell and they were fresh and well sized (not too small), the gumbo was also very flavorful and to our liking. I will definitely stop by if I am in the area again in the future!

Came here for lunch with my family. We were quickly seated and had a waiter come right to us. Our waiter was attentive throughout the visit. For appetizers we had the fondue and boudin balls. Both were really good. I ordered the Louisiana Stuffed Catfish with crawfish etouffee, dirty rice and veggies. The food was seasoned to perfection and the veggies cooked perfectly. Well worth the 45 minute drive!!

Food was ok. I thought of it like home cooked. The waiter, Jacob was very nice and helpful. He kept our drinks filled the whole time. The people who worked at Tookies Seafood were very professional and polite.

Kyle was my server, and he did such a great job. I was so tired and stressed and just wanted to relax. Kyle asked me how my day was and I said sooo long, and he left alone to my own thoughts. He recommend some chocolate desert and it was great.

We visit Tookies with my son a lot, each visit has been phenomenal! Great service, fresh delicious food. His favorite being the blackened catfish with dirty rice & twice baked potato. The ahi tacos from the appetizer menu are so good!
