SGD DUBU SO GONG DONG TOFU & KOREAN BBQ

If you’re starving for korean food, you must come to this place. This place will be my go to korean restaurant for sure. I recommend ordering tofu soup with a spicy (level 4) for spice lover, like me. However the real kick is the rice. You MUST scrape the rice out to a separate bowl and pour warm water there. Rest that for a while and enjoy at the end of the meal. That rice soup will be a good dessert to finish the meal. Forgot the mention the important part, the workers were so friendly and the store was clean! Though if you visit at peak time like 12pm you might have to wait a little bit! Overall, I would love to re-visit!

Great food lots of banchan to go with you meal. They also bring out hot tea right away which was awesome. The service was fast and helpful. I would definitely go again The atmosphere is modern and simplistic, in a good way. Prices were about average and worth the cost for the portion sizes and taste.

Definitely the best Korean food in the Chicago area!! The food and service were great. We ordered the galbi, seafood pancake, soondubu, and bibimbap. Galbi was very very good, tender and flavorful. Seafood pancake was crispy and batter tasted high quality. Soondubu good as always, better than BCD.

Absolutely solid! You’ll always get in quick and get served quickly. This restaurant was super accommodating of my allergies and made it really easy. I had the seafood soondubu which came out bubbling hot, with shrimp and baby clams! I wish there was more seafood but the flavor was great. Served with banchan, a big bowl of short grain white rice, and barley tea. My friend got the ramen soondubu combo and loved it. Quick, easy, satisfying, and comforting 🥣

I have been ordering to-go food from SDG for years, and they ALWAYS satisfy my appetite for Korean food! I LOVE their food so much, most especially the extra sides! 5 out of 5 stars!

I love SGD in general. Though some franchise locations lack consistency. I love the Schaumburg location because their food and service is very consistent. I have not once had a negative experience there. Their new dishes Teokbokki and Porkbelly tofu kimchy were very very good. Best korean food I have found so far in the area. Keep it up!
