It’s very welcoming as you walk in. I love the interior design. I never seen gorgeous tables as decor. History is my favorite subject so seeing the history of bulgogi on the wall was an interesting read. Our waiter was a sweet heart always smiling and very attentive and polite. Best for last the food . As this being my first time trying kimchi it was a pleasant first. The prices are very affordable epically for the different tastes you might be looking for. It’s so cute with the metal utensils being Eco-friendly. I already see bringing my friends here for they come to visit me. I was thinking of moving over here and Jin Cook make me love this area more and more. I can’t wait to come back here again.

my favorite Korean restaurant in Santa Monica! If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in West LA, Jincook is the best. They start you with banchan, and everything I get here is always so good. This time I got the rose tteokbokki, Korean BBQ short-rib galbi, a cozy army stew perfect for winter, and their crispy sweet potato cheese curry katsu that comes out piping hot. We ended with refreshing cold noodles to cool down 😂

Went here with my boyfriend to try and it was so yummy! Staff is extremely friendly and the food was just as good. The Garlic Suyuk, marinated dumplings, and Korean short ribs were amazing. Perfect place to go for some comfort food or if you’re just looking for some Korean food!

Review: Loved the vibe. Lacquered tables on the wall, mural of ancient Korea, and polished wood tables totally gives me that Korean American feeling. I ordered dishes I felt to me were "soul food" Truly elevated: the mushroom japchae was amazing. Great noodles and sauce and the mushroom combination felt Taiwanese inspired and really something unique from the usual japchae. Surprising twist: the Korean friend chicken batter was closer to Chinese style than American. Thin batter layer that was still super crispy. Sauce was stickier and the meat was juicy and tender. Solidly made: got the seafood pancake, ttokbokki, and army stew. All were made very well and rich with flavor. Yuju drink was light and crisp and not too sweet. Story: When I first came to LA in 2005, I didn’t know anything about Korean food or Korean culture. But I ended up joining a Korean campus group, and pretty soon I was very much entrenched with Korean people. In 2023, I got excommunicated from the Korean religious community I was a part of. It was painful and suddenly so many places that I had gone to eat were now tinged with hurtful memories. But when I went here, I took my friend who had never had Korean food. It was really fun to explain all the things I’ve come to know about a cuisine that was once new to me too. It’s great to go to new places but still eat the same foods. Moral of the story: People may come and go. But don’t let bad people ruin good food.

Delicious Korean food. Loved the tteokbokki and Bibimbap with bulgogi brisket hot stone. All very delicious, large portions. David, one of the servers, was so nice. I recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious Korean food in a modern and elegant atmosphere.

Wow!!! This food was seriously so amazing! We stumbled upon this Korean soul food spot after a late night and it did not disappoint! The short ribs were to die for, the dumplings were SOO great as well! Our server Gi was sooo helpful in finding what we’d like on the menu and was genuinely so happy, I can’t wait to come back. Good food and good service, what’s not to like?

Delicious food and service was great! We've been here a couple of times and the wait time on weekdays is significantly shorter than weekends which is awesome. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes Korean food and a chill dining experience.
