Another great Korean Bbq restaurant. The meat quality is excellent. Banchan is extensive which i appreciate. We also ordered the bean paste stew which was great. The steamed egg was ok a bit over cooked. The service was great. Although the only thing that I didn't like was the server cooked our all meats orders very quickly. Too fast for what I am used to since the meat became cold. Only if it was grilled a bit slower between meats.
Today is our first time here and we enjoyed everything. We ordered roo much food…. The food portion is quite good, more meat than what I expected. We had a great time. Ordered beef brisket and belly, and short ribs. Pineapple juice is amazing!! Service is excellent, food was all cooked by our waitress and she’s very good. Super nice service and food, 5 star and will be back. This place is not cheap, but the food quality is worth it.
The staff here are extremely friendly. Not only do they help grill the meat, but they also regularly check in to see if you’d like more side dishes — honestly, the side dishes alone are quite satisfying. The meat is fresh and delicious, and the pancake was good as well, though slightly on the salty side. Overall, the value is very reasonable and not overpriced. We’re light eaters, so we only ordered one plate of meat, but most other tables seemed to order two or three plates along with soup. A very enjoyable dining experience — definitely worth trying!
I was flying from San Diego and asked a local on my flight to San Jose where to eat when I landed & he suggested here! It did not disappoint. The owner was so sweet and the food was amazing. As someone who has not had much Korean bbq this was an amazing experience. I will come back anytime I can. So yummy!
We just came in with our 4 month old baby. He was not having it. As we were enjoying our delicious food. The hostess up in the front was so understanding about our situation. He kept attending us so much. But baby still would not stop crying so we decided to leave. They packed up our food and just basically treated us like family. We are so sad we didn’t experience the whole Korean Bbq experience. But this place has a great atmosphere and the food is delicious. The meats are amazing and they give out well great portions. We will definitely come back again. ❤️❤️❤️ thank you!
I've been to this place for about 10 times. Great food for the price. However, what put me off is that the restaurant (especially a lady who looks Korean) always tries to rush us to finish the lunch or dinner. It happened to my family once or twice, and in a situation when I ate there with my friends. So basically, if you go at an early time, like 5:30 pm, they will try to rush you at 6:30 pm so that they can serve more customers, and if you go at a late time, say 1 pm, they will rush you at 2:30 or so so that they can close the restaurant earlier. I would have actually understood this in other situation, but not this case because (a) they often start to rush us even within 1 hour. I timed it once and they started to give us check after we sat there for 50 minutes. I've been to great restaurants that gives only 90 minutes window, but 50 minutes is really too short. (b) this is still a relatively pricy restaurant ($100 per person) so I would expect a bit better service. (c) Their staff and work style are not optimized for table turnover rate; when we are rushed, there are still empty tables available, and their staff is not fast enough to give those empty tables to other customers. Also their service is not fast either (it's not like Daeho where you pre-order and when you sit there everything is ready; here it takes 20 minutes to get the food even and it takes 5 minutes to cook and we only have 25 minutes to eat? ..) So as much as I love the food, the experience is really bad. I think nobody can really enjoy good food if the amount of time is too short.
My niece was in town and she wanted some legit Korean bbq so I took her here and she loved it. Got the combo with the big beef bone. Everything was a hit and they even cook for you. Since you have your own cook, the service was fast. You just tell your cook what you want and they’ll grab it for you. I made reservations the day of and go a 7pm reservation. The vibe of this place is chill, not too loud and not too tamed. They have two sections that can fit a big group. My one issue with this place is the parking. It can be hard to find parking so I suggest dropping someone off to check in and wait first while you find parking.
