I have came to this restaurant when it was a ramen spot called Ramenos. I’ve came to this plaza and saw how Rumens is now ONDO Korean restaurant. Came here during lunch time around noon. It was really busy and a full house on a Thursday. There is a Yelp wait list that you sign in on a tablet. What I ordered ~ Beef Bibambap for myself. I love bibimbap. The bowl is filled w lots of Korean fresh veggies. Highly recommended. ~ Soft beef Tofu Soup for my father. He got the beef non spicy one. Filled with a lot of tofu and was given an egg for us to crack it into the soup. Both dishes came with a bowl of steam/white rice. Currently running a Galbitang special BOGO 50% Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The Banchan especially the kimchi is delicious. All which is made in house per the owner Megan. She helped assist with my order and came and checked in on us, sweet gal. Really Authentic Korean Food. Love the vibe, decor and simplicity of modern Korean vibe. Service was fast and really friendly. Located in same plaza as Hobby Lobby, Krak Boba & enchanted coffee shop. Lots of parking available.
Tofu soup is delicious. I wish they used different pots for the rice, because it doesn’t crisp up as much as other restaurants. Galbi is not very good, but smoked pork belly was great.
What a come up for our neighborhood! We came here after seeing a korean spot opened around the corner from us. We lucked out because they were doing a $25 set menu for their grand opening and it came with SO much food. First off, the banchan really hit. Their kimchi is sweeter than most places, but I was into it. The seafood pancake was generously sized and they did not skimp on the fish, overall really great taste especially if you add the side sauce they give you. For our main course we opted for shrimp tofu soup and assorted tofu soup and the broth was soo flavorful. A little on the salty side so I think it’s worth adding spice to help cut the salt. We got the sweet drink desserts and again, the flavoring was spot on but too sweet in my opinion. Not sure I would get those again because I couldn’t finish but it’s possible they’re just fine tuning things. I loved this place and will definitely go back; excited to try other menu items.
5 stars from our first visit. I went with my family and we all left impressed. The soondubu was so flavorful — the seasoning was on point and tasted really comforting. The green onion pancake was a standout for us. Super crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and gone within minutes. They also have a great lunch deal, which makes it even better for families. And don’t skip the smoked pork belly — smoky, tender, and full of flavor. Such a solid spot, we’re already talking about going back.
The restaurant is bright, modern and calming. Not your typical Korean restaurant ambiance. Attentive service. Current $12 lunch weekday menu has 4-5 options mostly hot tofu soups. We ordered the soybean soup which has a strong, distinct flavor. Good w rice. Ordered the Bibimbap to go which came w a cute Bento box w 4 different side dishes. Galbitang- currently BOGO 50% off so we ordered one each. The broth was light and delicious. Would definitely come back again if in the area!
If you’ve been BCD Tofu or Kaju Tofu, this is similar to those but this is smaller dining area with more intimate setting and it was outstanding! We had the 50$ grand opening deal where we got an appetizer, ribeye plate, 2 tofu soups, 2 rice bowls, 2 dessert drinks along with the included sides. The sides all tasted extremely fresh and all the food had great flavors! Everything we had was 10/10 and we will be returning!
If you want to experience Korea's signature dishes at reasonable prices with clean, balanced flavors, I highly recommend this place. The wholesome, fresh ingredients and superb side dishes make for a truly satisfying meal. The bibimbap and the soft tofu stew, rich with chili oil aroma, are especially outstanding. I recommend it because you can experience flavors that would be considered top-tier even in Korea itself.
