Hot Asian Buns

It was a very fun experience. We came for the street fair in Sandford and came across the Hot Asian Buns. The food was delicious. The buns were so fresh and so light. Which they fresh made fresh in store. The fillings were generous and authentic. We sat down for two buns ( pork belly and tempura shrimps) on the first round then order 3 more ( tempura shrimps, Korean spicy chicken and bulgogi beef)on the second round. Everything was so tasty. We really have enjoyed this place will certainly return again. Shout out the friendliest server V and Hana. So happy and genuinely nice people. Love love love this place. Must visit again.

I’ve been to Hot Asian Buns twice now and will absolutely continue to revisit. I had the vegan Korean fried chicken bao buns and they were absolutely delicious and very filling. The staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. There is an abundance of seating options. Love that there is a station with moist towelettes, toothpicks, cold water, and cold water with lemon. The decor is fun, I personally love all the movie posters. I would love to see more vegan options in the future. Maybe some loaded fries with the slaw, some of the sauce used for the vegan bao, or kimchi without fish sauce?!

The ladies working were very polite and nice. Everything seemed fairly priced and our food came out quite fast! Everything tasted fresh and was steaming hot! The pork bao i tried was excellent & the gochujang wings were so good and slightly spicy. Will definitely come here again

The best and freshest boa buns I've ever had! Amazing. The Kim chi fries were out of this world. Very friendly staff. The buns are home made and steamed so soft. I had the boa combo with the pork belly bun and a shrimp tempura bun

A gift to Downtown Sanford! Outstanding food and service. Great limited menu. Bai buns are amazing. I suggest you try at least 3, 4 is better. So great to have a local joint like this!!! Bulgogi my favorite!

Rainy Sundays call for Hot Asian Buns.. what a name! 😅 Got a haircut at Traditions next door and swung by after to check this place out. Was greeted warmly by the front staff. Ordered two items: TEMPURA SHRIMP BAO 🍤 (Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, Red Onion, Romaine, Cilantro) - Very Tasty and was great starter LACQUERED PORK BELLY BOWL 🐷 (Hoisen Sauce, Preserved Mustard Greens, Peanut Powder, Cilantro) - Pork Belly was melt in your mouth good. The pickled sides also compliments it well. Definitely will be back to try the other menu items!

Been there multiple times. Reasonable prices and great food! The staff are very friendly as well. It’s located in a really convenient spot so it’s perfect for airport staff like me and my friends to pop by to grab a bite during downtime.
