Hanok korean house

Finally found a place nearby that serves really good Korean soy-marinated crab, so we don’t have to drive all the way to Koreatown anymore! The crab here is very fresh, sweet, and perfectly marinated—the sauce is flavorful without being overpowering, and there’s absolutely no fishy taste. You can really tell the quality of the ingredients. Everything we tried was delicious, but the ganjang gejang is a must-order. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

Its a nice alternative to the other mainstream korean tofu house. The taste is very mild. Food is comforting. Almost taste like it was made for a young child. Seasoning can be amped up in my opinion. There was no wait around 6pm. However after 7pm on a Saturday it can get pretty packed. Place is pretty medicore. Likely will not be back.

The food here was genuinely very well made. The galbijim was so tender, had a wonderful balance of flavors, and lots of meat. The seafood tofu soup had a wonderful light but umami seafood flavor. It’s not the spicy ones you get at other tofu houses but I liked that about it. It was clean and the seafood was fresh (had crab inside even). It’s a family run shop with a mom, dad, and son. They were so sweet. The only thing is the place is not super well kept, but of course they are trying the best they can. The banchan here is also so complete and yummy :))

Excellent authentic Korean food, best we have had in the area. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely come back with more people so we can try other dishes. Highly recommend!

This is my second time at Hanok, and they do not disappoint! We began with the shrimp tempura, seafood pancake, and steamed egg. It was all fresh, well seasoned, and delicious!

The soy-marinated crab was incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The pork bone soup was also amazing—rich, flavorful, and very comforting. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back again!

Came across Hanok while we’re looking for Korean food locally. Delicious food! We got Bossam, gamjatang, and seafood jeon. They were all fantastic. Great service. Banchans are unique - different from what you would find at a typical Korean restaurant.
