Opted for delivery tonight and it was barely edible. Got the fried rice and zazang sauce combo, one with shrimp and one with beef. The rice was super overcooked and pasty, like someone was making rice for the first time. This also never got tossed around in a pan, let alone "fried" before it was thrown in the container. It looks like someone mixed a handful of frozen veggies in plain white rice. The sauce was fine, but basic. Not much in it. The beef was chewy and dry, bf says the shrimp was fine. Also, was supposed to come with soup and didn’t. Overall: yuck. Have been in person before and it was decent, the delivery we got was gross.

the jajangmyeon was good, pretty decently large portion and slightly sweeter flavor than others i’ve had. the tteokboki was filled with fish cakes and veggies, which i really liked. the spicy fried chicken was alright, it was very saucy and flavorful, and it was a bit too much to eat without rice. the portions in general are decently sized and would be good to split between people family style. we’re in value town baby 🤠

9/2/2025* This time, I tried the beef tofu soup, which tasted just ok. The broth was not rich enough, really bland. There weren't a lot of ingredients in the soup, which was a bit of a letdown. Usually, they always include an egg with the tofu soup. A bit disappointed. 11/8/2023 We ordered the Za Zang Myun, which consists of homemade noodles in black bean sauce with ground pork and vegetables. The taste was quite enjoyable, and there was really nothing to complain about. The flavor leaned slightly towards the sweeter side, which was a pleasant surprise. I went with the Zam Pong, and I must say I absolutely loved it! This dish features homemade noodles with shrimp, squid, clam, and vegetables in a spicy beef broth soup. What really stood out were the generous portions of seafood, with at least 4 huge mussels, 4 clams, 4 shrimp, and tender squid, making it a seafood lover's dream. The Za Zang Myun noodles were perfectly cooked and complemented the dish wonderfully. The spicy beef broth had a rich, flavorful profile that added an extra layer of depth to the overall taste. The portion size was satisfying, and the combination of seafood, noodles, and the delicious broth made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. What's more, the price is really worth it, considering the quality and quantity of the food you receive!

Kimchi fried rice was very good—the rice had a really addictive texture and the kimchi lent a great tart flavor. The include champong broth was also nice. Jajangmyun wasn’t much more than sweet sauce and noodles. Not much meat or vegetables. Really homey place that appears to have a lot of regulars. Not a bad choice if you went to a nearby Kaiser and need lunch nearby.

Zazang noodles were okay, too sweet for me and the noodles had very little ground pork in there it felt like we were just eating vegetarian noodles. Wouldn’t get it again. The zam pong was better for sure the seafood tasted fresh and the broth was decent.

I had a craving for Jjajangmyeon and decided to stop by Zazang after visiting a patient at Kaiser. The restaurant wasn’t too busy when I arrived and I was welcomed and seated promptly. I started off with the Korean fried chicken wings and a Terra beer. The chicken was seasoned and sauced nicely and I enjoyed the flavor and crispiness of the chicken. Perfect way to start the meal. The Jjajangmyeon was so good! I enjoyed the texture of the noodles and the flavor of the sauce. I appreciate how the sauce is served separately as mixing in the ingredients all together makes the experience so much more authentic! It was served traditionally with round slices of danmuji to refresh the palate, and sliced onions to enhance the flavor during and between bites. As this restaurant specializes in Jjajangmyeon— it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend if you are also craving these noodles!

Street parking only. My friend and I went there for lunch and we arrived there at 2:24 and there were a lot of seats. It’s a quite and small family owned Korean restaurant. My friend ordered the Zazang noodles and I ordered the soft tofu soup and spicy rice cake. It was my first time to try Zazang noodles and the texture of the noodles was very soft. The sauce for the Zazang noodles was pretty good. I would recommend to the people who like noodles. The soft tofu soup was fair and they didn’t have the egg for the soup. The spicy rice cake was very spicy and tasty. Overall, I would recommend this place to people who like Korean food.
