DalBam Moon Night

Dalbam Moon Night is an absolutely wonderful restaurant, a true hidden gem! The atmosphere is both vibrant and cozy; it feels joyful being here. Service is excellent; our waitress Saki was extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful. And the food is some of the best on Convoy, definitely the best for Korean cuisine. Everything we ordered was sensational, savory, and just right. We will definitely be returning here.

I visited DalBam Moon Night in Convoy Koreatown last night to experience their new menu, and wow, I was blown away! The Korean-style pork was delicious and offered two options at a great price. The entire menu provides excellent value, making it an affordable choice while still maintaining quality. I had the spicy samgyeopsal cheese, kimchi fried rice, maeun cheese dakgui, and the pork dish from the new menu, and everything was fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back. It's well worth the effort for such an amazing dining experience!

It is a new and cool spot of Korean food in convoy! We four to have dinner on a Sunday night, I highly recommend a reservation because it was busy. We ordered 4 dishes which are bossam, seafood pancakes, which these two are our favorites. We also had bulgogi, I think it is a little too sweet. And kimchi jjigae is very heavy taste, if you like super flavorful and a little bit over seasoned food, you probably will like it. The restaurant is a little smaller than I thought while it is nice decorated.

Amazing bossam. I often skip pork belly dishes because they're too fatty but this is perfect - a good amount of meat but still enough fat to be tender. Nice sweet soy sauce with it too. Spicy stew, seafood pancake, cheese corn all really good. The conches smell a little oceany but taste like a huge (fresh) clam, if you're into that. Fun K-pop music on the speakers. Got all this w/ two drinks for 130 before tip so value was very good - we'll be back.

Chuck and I had a great dinner at awesome Korean Restaurant. The staff members were great. This was our first time dining here at DalBam Moon Night and we definitely had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff members were wonderful. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and was quitea fun place. Gotta love K Pop music. The service was great and all I can say is that they showed how much they cared for the customer experience. We ordered two appetizers and one hot pot. We were pleasantly surprised to get a third appetizer which was sent to us by the Chef. Thst appetizer, Corn Hheese, was probably the best we have had in San Diego. We appreciate that the chef did this and this shows that they want to make sure that the customers are happy. The Fried Dumplings and the Cheese Balls were perfectly cooked and delicious. Our main dishes, Budae Joengol ( Army Stew), which was a hot pot, was unlike any other wecgave had. This version was the most flavorful we had ever had. The broth was seasoned perfectly with the perfect amount of heat or spice level. This is a fun and great restaurant with delicious food. We definitely will return for another meal.

Everything was… fine. The food? Good but not mind-blowing. Service? Polite but a little detached. Atmosphere? Decent enough but didn’t quite sweep me off to a dreamy Seoul nightscape. It’s not a bad spot by any means, just didn’t leave much of an impression. Solid if you’re nearby, but probably not a destination spot.

Great value and service!! Perfect date night spot. Bossam and tteokbokki were very tasty. Price and quality were better than other spots like grandma's and friends house. They also had $5 draft beer! Food also came very quickly and server was attentive to our needs.
