Myung Ga Tofu & Korean BBQ

Had the LA Kalbi and it tasted outstanding. The sides were very good and the owner was nice enough to see o finished the kimchi and brought me more. The waitress/hostess checked on me multiple times and was very cheerful. Will return again if I'm in town

I recently visited Myung GA Tofu & Korean BBQ for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was welcoming and helped guide me through the menu, which made the whole experience even better. The meats were fresh, and the flavors were incredible. Each dish had its own unique taste, and grilling them at the table added a fun interactive element. I especially loved the variety of side dishes that came with the meal, which complemented the food perfectly. Although this was my first visit, I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. There are so many delicious plates to try, and I’m already looking forward to my next meal here. The atmosphere was cozy and casual, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I've tried Korean food a handful of times before, never at this restaurant. I am open-minded to any and all new foods. With that being said, I let my more experienced friends choose from the menu for us both. Some of the food will require you to have acquired tastes for it specifically. Some could be a bit bitter and a strong aftertaste. I might try a soup with noodles on my next visit. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The price was, I believe, to be fair, not the most inexpensive for the portions. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and inviting. I will definitely be back when I get a chance.

Im from the bay area and tofu stew/galbi is one of my favorite meals to have. Im very picky/food sensitive and have to try a lot of places to find one that's just right, and unexpectedly this was that place. It beats alllll the korean tofu stew places back in San Jose for me so im shocked it doesnt seem to be a hit with other asian college students & families in Riverside (or maybe i just visit during slow days/hours lol). They offer combo meal options which is the perfect portion for me if i add a second bowl of rice. Now I dont have to pay $40-50 bucks ordering full portion tofu stew + LA galbi that i cant even finish :') the galbi is never dry or hard to chew, the rice is delicious (very important), they seldom mess up any changes i request to my stew, the prices are fair... love it. Ive never seen more than one, maybe two waiters working at a time so sometimes u might have to wait a lil bit to ask for something especially if there's other customers, but they're all super nice and do a great job considering they're, yknow, one person. Im going to miss this restaurant real bad when i move back home after graduating this year.

The 6 side dishes are really good and the kimchi soup and tofu soup are delicious as expected! Good service too!

I have amended my review. This place is one of the BEST Korean BBQ places in the IE. The food is very traditional - we L❤️VE the LA Style Kalbi - you have not had Korean BBQ until you've had this dish!! The banchan is tasty with a good variety. The service may not be the quickest, the prices not the cheapest, but the staff is kind and courteous every time and the delicious food is worth every penny!! We, my Korean mother and Auntie, eat here regularly instead of driving to Riverside for Korean BBQ.

I really enjoy Korean food and this spot is one of my favorites. They really nailed at the Korean plates and the staff service is really friendly. The food is on time, and the soups are really so good. +1000 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
