We ordered the jokbal and the gopchang hot pot, and everything was seriously beyond delicious! The jokbal was super tender and perfectly chewy with no gamey smell at all, and it tasted even better with all the side dishes. The gopchang hot pot had a rich, spicy broth that was so addictiveand most importantly, it was loaded with so much gop (that creamy, savory fat) that every bite was incredibly flavorful. The gopchang was fresh and the portion was generous, so we were full and happy to the last spoonful. The owner was also really kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon! 😊

Food was delicious, but I took off a star because service could be better and the location is sketchy. The place looks like its falling apart being held by duct tape...definitely gives off hole in the wall vibes. I also think its overpriced. The galbi plate is 29.99 almost the same price as an eat all you can kbbq. It came with ban chan which were all delicious and tasty, but I don' think you can get refills on it coz when I asked for a little bit more of the anchovy and bean sprouts ban chan the older lady serving me was reluctant..but she did give us another small plate of those ban chan. Seafood pancake was big and good to share and cost 17$. Tasted good but in my opinion it could have more seafood in it. Not sure i would want to willingly come back bc of price, location, and service..But, it is at least worth a try when in San antonio and if youre looking for a Korean joint that is open late.

This is the best Korean food I have found in San Antonio. I love that it’s open late night and is so cozy! It felt like eating at my grandparent’s house. We had the kimchi jjigae, Yukgaejang, and beef bulgogi. Everything came with rice and banchan. It was a beautiful spread and everything was absolutely delicious.

I've been coming here since 2022; it's that good. It's the perfect spot for a girls' night out, hanging out with friends, and dates that don't mind the price tag. The food is amazing and doesn't leave you full or asking yourself "why did I eat?". The portions are big but reasonable, and there is even some to share. The owners are always there. They are very friendly, and if they are not too busy, they will even talk with you about the food, and are even helpful enough to show you how to debone a fish, as well as what's most popular to eat if you can not decide for yourself. I've included a photo of the food eaten at my last visit. * Banchan - side dishes, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, etc.. *Japchae with bulgogi (beef meat), a sweet potato glass noodle stir-fried with julienned vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, etc.). *Tteok-bokki, which is chewy rice cakes simmered in a sweet and spicy sauce customized to their specifications. *A grilled Mackerel- fish. *Drinks are water, Sprite, Korean beer, and not pictured was a bottle of soju.
