Home-style Korean food with a warm, welcoming owner. The pork spine stew is cooked perfectly tender with a classic, no-nonsense spicy gochujang flavor. The best part is the "fried rice finale"—they stir rice into the leftover broth and reduce it until it’s packed with flavor. Also loved the boiled pork wraps with spicy sauce, garlic, and bellflower root in napa cabbage. Comfort food done right.

Such a great spot! The food tastes super authentic and comforting. The gamja tang was so flavorful and rich — definitely one of the best I’ve had. The bossam (served after 5pm) was also amazing — super tender and packed with flavor. Portions are big, prices are fair, and the servers were honestly the sweetest. You can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend if you’re craving solid Korean food!

The most horrible service I’ve received in my entire life. Incredibly rude, feels like I was begging them for a refill. Never got the side dishes I asked for. I tipped just out of human decency but not because I wanted to. Very stressful and unpleasant dining experience, will never ever come back or recommend anyone to come here. Spend your money elsewhere, there’s so many good Korean food place in LA.

This Korean restaurant is the specializes in Gamja Tang (Potato Ribs Soup). You can tell from the name of the restaurant. The meals they provide are large and not expensive. I have eaten here many times.

First impression is this place has a great style of Korean food, look like some traditional meals of Korean when they want to hang out with friend. Portion is large, nice presentation and well seasoned. I really enjoy the foods since It brought me some new experiences that I haven't have from other Korean restaurants. There was one tiny problem I had with the service. I don't know if they don't speak much English or maybe they just tired by the time I visited; the server didn't explain much about the menu when I ask and always forgot my side dish when I asked for extra. Definitely coming back to enjoy the special atmosphere of the restaurant and hope that I'll get a better hospitality from the servers.

Best Gamjatang! It’s well cooked and so easy to eat! The meat comes right off from the bone and the soup is not too salty! I think this spot is better than LA original gamjagol! Must try👍
