Ju Bang Jang 주방장 - Homestyle Korean Food Restaurant 한식 전문

Korean Restaurant along Northern Boulevard beside Panda Garden. Food is ok, not bad but not that great. small place with limited seats. It has a home cooked vibe, maybe that's why different than your commercialized Korean restaurant. Overall, not a bad place, but wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

the food was tasty. the pancakes were crispy at the edges and the banchans were yummy. she refilled them after we devoured it. 😊 the owner is very sweet and took great care of her customers. she gave us free drinks. i like how calm the atmosphere was. they played piano instrumentals. i would definitely come again to try her other dishes. 😌💕

Such a cozy and lovely place to have a warm meal. I got the Manduguk and seafood pancake which were both everything I needed on a gloomy day. Will definitely be coming back!

It's a neighborhood restaurant, but we had never tried. No fancy decorations. Interior is very simple , but we sit comfortably. I only saw two staffs working, one of them was in the kitchen and one of them is our server. It's a very cold day, so we thought it's a good idea to have something hot and warm. I ordered a Korean Hanover soup and my husband ordered the combo (tofu soup and fish). The fish is smooth. My Hanover soup is a bit salty spicy(the server told me it's not spicy 🫤). Overall we like the restaurant.

I was looking for a place where I can get nice home made meal and veggies option and this place hits the spot. The moment I walked in I knew this restaurant was going to be good. It's a small establishment but feels authentic Korean food place. The interior and atmosphere make you feel like you're eating in a restaurant in Korea. The menu is both in Korean and English and the owner understands English as well. The food came with 6 different banchan including nice kimchi and pickled veggies. The bulgogi rice was delicious and with good portions of rice. The meat juice was so delicious mixed with the rice. All in all, I highly recommend this place and will visit again.

First time walking in. There’s two tables, open. One is a corner by the window with the booth seats. The other is right in front of the bathroom. We were directed to the table in front of the bathroom We figured it should be okay for us to ask about this table which was the same size as the table given to us just different location so I’m assuming the reserving party is 4 or less like us. When asked about the corner table, we were told it’s already reserved. Strangely there wasn’t anyone else waiting to be seated besides us, No rating on the food since we walked out. However it is a quaint little spot. Definitely good atmosphere. Just we would prefer to not sit right in front of the bathroom door when eating.
