Oh K Dog

My girlfriend got the Bacon and cheese toast and I got the Sweet potato hot dog. I enjoyed my sweet potato hot dog, but next time I'll probably stick to the potato hot dog instead. My girlfriend enjoyed her toast. It was a bit confusing on how to order your food. Look for the giant order sign and you order from there.

Finally! Took them long enough to open a location in Plano! It’s located inside HMart’s food court, and I think it got pretty popular since they opened. I used to go to the food court for lunch, but it’s never busy or have enough attention. I came yesterday for some Korean hot dogs and saw so many tables packed, and almost everyone had one hot dog order. You place your order at the left booth (for anything you want from the food court), and then wait until the restaurant calls your number. I ordered a potato cheese and a rice cake one, it didn’t take long for the order to finish despite only one old guy working. The portion seems a bit bigger than the Carrollton location, and the sauces are full stocked. They also have egg toasts. I haven’t been to the Carrollton location in awhile, but these looks pretty tasty too.

Located in the HMart Plano food court, so be sure to place your order at the main checkout and then whichever restaurant you order from will call your number. I had the ham and cheese egg toast and it was heavenly. I just returned from South Korea and had egg toast from Egg Drop there. This was better, in my opinion. The toast was fluffy and had a slight crunch. Perfectly cooked eggs with warm ham, cheese, and mayonnaise (not sure if that's what it was?). But I do love a good egg sandwich!

And now for something different. We had noticed the offerings of Korean hot dog in Collin County but had not yet made the stop. Looking for something different we came back to H-mart K Town Food Court and went for the dogs. Taking the advice of another reviewer we got K3 and K5 choices one dog each and shared. Not quite enough food so next time we will get maybe 3 dogs and split between the two of us. Or something from one of the other vendors. Lots to choose from. I posed some photos of the area and Oh K-Dog.

I brought my family from out of state to Oh K-Dog because we had enjoyed it before and wanted them to try it. We accidentally ordered something that contained pork, which we cannot eat as Muslims, and realized the mistake after ordering. I politely approached the owner to explain, hoping for some understanding or a possible exchange. Instead, he was extremely rude and said he’s never made a mistake in his life. He refused to refund or help in any way, and even went out of his way to talk about the situation with the staff in another language, which made me feel disrespected and excluded. We had placed a large order and were excited to share this experience with our family, but unfortunately, the way we were treated was very disappointing.

I had the K4 and the K5 and they were a real good time. The fried breading on the outside was crispy and perfect. Gooey cheese on the inside. Will be needing to try them all now. Lots of sauces to choose from!

So my buddy decided to take us to H-Mart where they have a food court within their store...and I came across Oh K Dog. This was my first time trying this place and it was so good. I never knew about the different types of dogs they have...but it is worth the drive. If you are around the area and want to try something new, this is the spot.
