Great food. Cool environment. Really good food and large portions. They have boba tea, hot sake, soju Lots of cocktail selections. Lots of selections for food and appetizers. I tried some octopus for the first time. It was surprisingly good! I love bok choy on the grill and lots of mushroom options. Lots and lots of meat options. Lamb, ribeye, prime, chicken, beef, little Vienna sausage, pork, salmon, mussels, shrimp (the chicken and beef bulgogi was amazing.) there is sma sauce bar to try different concepts with appetizers, seaweed salad, fried rice and fresh kimchi. My server was very attentive yet, did not hover. He helped my table with cooking tips. I will be back to try more of the menu.
Very cool interior with attentive staff, and decent kbbq. The inside has a nightlife feel and it's very energizing. Staff are kind and do pay attention when you want more food which isn't always the case for AYCE joints. Food is quite good kbbq for Pittsburgh, abliet some of the choices are, well, interesting. There's a buffet bar that has creamy shrimp (coconut-shrimp-esque) and crab rangoons which are clearly not Korean and felt like cruise food. That section felt like a catering to your average non-Asian American who knows Asian food as the American Chinese food. The selection at the table was good, all of the meat and veggies were solid. Also bless the ability to get romaine lettuce - it's a banger when eating the meats. It's fun to go with friends, but for me and my wife, I'd rather go somewhere more Korean and less pandering to general American tastes.
Top Pot KBBQ was such a great way to be welcomed to Pittsburgh. Walking in, the vibe was lively and inviting, and it immediately felt like the kind of place you want to sit down, relax, and eat way more than you planned. The food was absolutely fantastic. The meats were well-marinated, tender, and full of flavor — each bite had that perfect balance of smoky and savory you want from Korean BBQ. The sides were fresh and plentiful, rounding out the meal beautifully. This is the kind of spot where you leave full but still wanting to try everything on the menu next time. One of the best things about Top Pot is that it’s open late. Whether you’re a student studying late, a night owl, or just someone craving a solid meal after hours, this place delivers. It’s rare to find somewhere with both quality food and late-night hours, and Top Pot nails it. The service was equally impressive. The servers were attentive, quick to refill sides and drinks, and always available without hovering. It really made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. Overall, Top Pot KBBQ is more than just a meal — it’s an experience worth coming back for. Between the delicious food, friendly staff, and late-night hours, this is easily one of the best spots in Pittsburgh for Korean BBQ. I’ll definitely be returning, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great vibes.
Excellent hot pot. Their drinks are strong and their buffet options dont seem like an afterthought. I was also very impressed with the meat options. Definitely a must try when in the area
Hard to best an all-you-can-eat meat meal. Yes, you cook it yourself and only have a 2 hour limit, but you get full fast! The meat is very fresh! The waiters are quick and attentive with helpful knowledge of the menu. The atmosphere is loud, with odd table placements, but they made due with the space they have to maximize seating. All the music sounds like a special remix of popular songs all forced into the same tempo. Makes for easy listening, but you could get annoyed over your favorite song not hitting the same high notes that you expect.
My friends and I decided to try TopPot Hotpot last night and we were seriously impressed. The place is way nicer inside than I expected. Really clean and spread out, so you're not elbow-to-elbow with the next table. The food was great. The seafood was super fresh – the shrimp were plump and sweet. The meat was good, maybe just a tiny bit chewy in some spots, but everything else was spot-on. We tried the spicy broth and it was fantastic; it had a real kick but didn't just taste like pure heat, and our server was happy to make it milder for my friend who can't handle too much spice. Honestly, the service was what really stood out. The staff was so on top of refilling our soup and clearing empty plates without us even asking. For what you get, the price is fair.
A great spot where you can enjoy hot pot and Korean barbecue all in one place! It’s perfect for hanging out with friends or bringing a group (around 10 people works well). The atmosphere is lively, and the bathroom is clean and chic — a nice touch. The side bar offers a variety of delicious and authentic foods. I especially loved that they provide a menu and guide to help you create your own dipping sauces — a fun new experience! The chairs are comfortable, and the drinks pair very well with the savory dishes. As a Chinese diner, I highly recommend everyone give this place a try. Pittsburgh doesn’t have many Korean barbecue options, so this is definitely a great place to experience it. I also loved that you get to "cook" the food the way you like at your own table — interactive and fun! The service-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
