Thank you for having me! The servers were super attentive and nice and the vibes here were great. Loved the K-pop music. Me and my grandma got their green tea ($2 each), appetizer sampler ($9.50), baked salmon roll ($6.50), vintage prime rib eye beef ($28.50), angus prime beef ($22.75), and churros ($4.50). My grandma got their tomato broth and liked it. I got their sukiyaki which tasted like sweet teriyaki. Didn’t quite agree with me. The meats were really good though. Very tender and high quality, even better dipped in the dipping sauces that come with each set.

Fantastic first-time shabu-shabu experienceThis was our first visit to Oseyo Shabu-Shabu, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was so kind and patient, walking us through how everything works. We’re pretty sure we didn’t pay close enough attention and messed up a bit—but that’s on us!Even with our fumbles, everything tasted awesome: flavorful broth, fresh meats and veggies, and lots of fun, hands-on cooking. The restaurant was quiet enough for easy conversation, so it almost felt like a relaxed cooking class—in the best way.We’re excited to go back and try again now that we know the flow. Highly recommend for a low-key date night or a small group that wants to chat and cook together.Summary: Excellent, patient service; quiet, conversation-friendly vibe; delicious even when we goofed; can’t wait to return.

Great shabu-shabu place! High-quality beef, fresh veggies, and tasty broth. The sesame dipping sauce was my favorite. Clean, friendly, and perfect for a cozy meal. Highly recommend!

Great hot pot spot in Pasadena! Came during Happy Hour and got the Angus Beef and Australian Lamb sets, both came with plenty of meat, veggies, udon, and rice, super filling and fresh. Also tried the Salmon Roll, Bay Scallop Roll, Karubi, and a sashimi platter — all delicious and fresh. Excellent value and tasty food — will definitely be back!

Oseyo Shabu Shabu in Pasadena is a solid spot for a weekday lunch. For around $20, you get your own individual hotpot, a veggie platter, plus rice or udon — great value for the price. We tried the sukiyaki and tomato broths with beef and seafood. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Also got the soft-shell crab and fried calamari — both were crispy and satisfying. Portions are just right, the food feels healthy but filling, and the setting is casual and clean. Definitely a great option if you live or work nearby

The broth is flavorful enough on its own, but dipping sauces take it to the next level.
